2 Timothy 4:7: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith".
With deep sadness, we mourn the passing of our beloved parish priest, Fr Nicholas Ong. Though he battled illness with great strength and perseverance, he remained faithful in his service until the very end.
He was a shepherd who led with kindness, compassion, and generosity. His heart was always with the poor, the needy, and those who needed hope. He never hesitated to help others, and his dedication to serving God and the community touched countless lives.
One of his greatest gifts was his unwavering belief in the youth. He saw potential where others saw uncertainty, and he encouraged us to dream, grow, and serve with purpose. His dreams for the younger generation will continue to inspire us as we carry forward the values he taught us.
While we grieve his loss, we give thanks for the life he lived and the love he shared. May he rest in the eternal peace of the Lord whom he served so faithfully. His legacy of faith, kindness, and service will remain in our hearts forever.
Rest in peace, Father. Thank you for believing in us.
