Gen Jambey Dondup delivered a dharma talk about Tara Devi at the Persatuan Penganut Sherab Sangpo Sangha Centre in Malaysia on 17th January 2026. He explained the historical background of Tara Devi and taught the mantra as well as the mudra of Tara Devi. In addition, he provided guidance on the visualization of Tara Devi during prayers.

With unwavering faith and deepest reverence, the Abbot and former Abbots, together with the monastic officials of Kunkhyen Tsonawa’s Gontse Gaden Rabgye Ling Monastery, Mon-Bomdila (Mon region), respectfully made a formal request to the Secretary of the Gaden Phodrang, His Eminence Yangten Rinpoche, along with his attendants. Following the sacred conferral of the degrees of Prajñāpāramitā and Madhyamaka, His Eminence Yangten Rinpoche and his colleagues graciously arranged the most auspicious and precious audience. Through the boundless compassion and kindness of the Gaden Tripa Rinpoche, the monks of our monastery— including the Abbot, Chant Master, Disciplinarian, Administrator, a former Abbot, as well as those who received the degrees— were blessed with the rare and immeasurable fortune of an audience with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, the supreme spiritual guide and radiant beacon of world peace, on this most blessed day, January 19, 2026.

With folded hands and hearts filled with devotion, Gongtse Gaden Rabgyeling Monastery humbly and sincerely submitted a supplication to the 105th Throne Holder of the Glorious Gelugpa Tradition, His Holiness Lobsang Dorje Chang, requesting that, for the very first time, the sacred degrees of Prajñāpāramitā and Mādhyamika be conferred directly from the holy hands of His Holiness.
By the boundless compassion and wisdom of the sublime lineage holders, this aspiration was fulfilled on the most auspicious day of 18 January 2026, when, at Drepung Loseling Monastery, we were immeasurably blessed to receive these most precious degrees directly from the vajra hands of His Holiness the Gaden Tripa Dorje Chang.
In perfect accordance with the noble instructions of our monastery’s patron and the Lord of Vinaya Discipline, the 13th Incarnation of His Eminence Tsöna Rinpoche, a complete and authentic study program of the Five Major Buddhist Treatises has been firmly established at our monastery. At present, the monastic students are engaged in the third year of Dulwa (Vinayavastu).
As such an attainment has never before arisen in the history of monasteries in the sacred Mon region, it stands as a profound cause for rejoicing and rightful pride among the Mon people. Above all, this accomplishment has become a pure offering through practice, dedicated to the long life, excellent health, and ever-flourishing enlightened activities of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, and especially to the supreme holders of the stainless teachings, foremost among them His Holiness the Gaden Tripa Dorje Chang.
From the depths of our hearts, we extend our deepest gratitude to all benefactors and patrons of the monastery, whose faith-filled generosity—each according to their capacity—has made this rare and auspicious achievement possible.
Finally, the entire assembly of abbots, lamas, and the monastic community of Gongtse Gaden Rabgyeling Monastery, Bomdila, respectfully offers its profound gratitude to His Holiness the Gaden Tripa Dorje Chang and his esteemed entourage for graciously acceding to our supplication and bringing it to fruition. May this accumulation of virtuous merit serve as a cause for the enduring peace, harmony, and prosperity of all sentient beings.

Two Gen Lamas from Gontse Gaden Rabgyling Monastery, Bomdila, India have arrived to Persatuan Penganut Sherab Sangpo Sangha (SSS Centre) on 11th January 2026. During their stay, there will be sharing of dharma talks at 8pm on the following dates:-

24/1 - Namgyalma – Prayer, practice, and mudra practice.
31/1 - Dzambhala (Zambala) – Prayer, offerings, and practice.
1/2 - Dorje Sempa (Vajrasattva) – Ta***ic deity practice dedicated to purification and the elimination of unwholesome deeds.
7/2 - Mahakala and Shri Devi – Offerings and meditation.
