在面对未知的未来、迟迟未蒙应允的祷告时，我们往往觉得等待是在消耗生命。然而在希伯来文圣经中，“等候”这个词是 Qavah (קָוָה)，它原本的意思并不是无所事事地苦熬，而是像编织绳子一样，把不同的股线紧紧地缠绕、交织在一起。

原来，等待的本质不是生命在原地空转，而是让自己与神深度地缠绕、纠缠，好让我们的生命能得着祂的丰盛与坚韧。

今天在等待神的你，或许正经历环境的沉默与内心的煎熬。但请记得，你并没有被遗忘。神正在借着这段寂静的时光，将祂的属性、应许和能力，一笔一画地编织进你的生命里。当你在等候中越与祂纠缠，你的生命就会变得越发强韧。

Do you find waiting to be an agonizing experience? When facing an uncertain future, we often feel like waiting is a waste of time. However, in the original Hebrew Bible, the word for ”wait“ or ”hope“ is Qavah (קָוָה). Its literal meaning is not to sit idly in frustration, but to twist or intertwine strands together to form a strong rope.

True waiting means letting yourself be deeply entwined and bound with God, so that you may receive His ultimate abundance and strength.

To those who are waiting on God today: you might be facing a season of silence, but you are not forgotten. Every moment of waiting is an opportunity for God to weave His faithfulness and power into your life. The more you are intertwined with Him in the waiting, the stronger you will become.

别再外包孩子的信仰。
亲爱的爸爸妈妈们，我们都深爱着孩子，总想把世界上最好的东西留给他们。有时候，我们精疲力竭，以为把孩子送进主日学，他们的信仰就有了保障。但若望传道提醒了我们：“你所没有的是没有办法传承给后代的。”�
其实，上帝从未要求我们成为高高在上的“完美父母”，祂要的，只是一颗“愿意的心”。�
孩子不需要一个从不犯错的超级英雄。在一周168小时的烟火气里，在坐下行路的琐碎日常中，他们只需要看见：爸爸妈妈是真实地爱着神；而当我们在面对失败与软弱时，能带着他们一起，紧紧地牵住神的恩典。

Stop outsourcing your children‘s faith.
Dear parents, we know how deeply you love your children and how hard you strive to give them the very best. Sometimes, in our tiredness, we might think that leaving them in Sunday school is enough. But the pastor gently reminds us: ”You cannot pass on what you do not have.“
The beautiful truth is, God never asks us to be ”perfect parents.“ He simply looks for a ”willing heart.“

Our children don’t need superhero parents who never make mistakes. Throughout the 168 hours of everyday life, they just need to see how we genuinely love God, and how we humbly lean on His grace whenever we fall.

Passing on our faith is not about rules; it is a journey of tender companionship, where life touches life.

You are doing a wonderful job, and you don’t have to walk this path alone. We warmly invite you and your family to join our Parent-Child Worship (PCW) this week. In a supportive community of love and grace, let‘s learn together and make our homes a sweet sanctuary where faith naturally grows.

最近大家打招呼是不是常回“还活着就好” ？生活压力真的大到让人想躺平，就像故事里那个被打得半死的人，光有宗教知识救不了命 。幸好耶稣这位“好撒马利亚人”救了我们，还把我们安置在教会这个“旅店”康复 。既然被救了，就别对别人的需要“已读不回”——别只顾着自己，去照样做吧 ！

Is your go-to greeting ”still alive“? Life can beat us down until we’re barely hanging on, and religious talk didn’t save the man in the story—Jesus, the Good Samaritan, did. He healed us and brought us to the church to recover. Since we were rescued, let’s stop ”blue-ticking“ people in need. Don‘t just pray for yourself; go and do the same for others!

最动人的时刻莫过于听见孩子们口中那一句句简单却美好的感谢，纯真地表达对父母的爱。今早由 PCW 亲子崇拜带领敬拜，看到孩子们稚嫩却虔诚地学习祷告、敬拜神，这无疑是主日最美的画面。谢谢各位爸爸妈妈和孩子们用生命作见证，美佳梳邦堂有你们，真好！

On this Parents’ Day Sunday, Pastor Yok Wong reminded us that the depth of faith in a home determines the strength of the next generation’s foundation. We are called not just to “teach our children diligently,” but to let them see a living faith in us.
The heart of the service was captured in the simple yet beautiful words of gratitude from the children—pure expressions of love for their parents. 竹子前几年只长高 3 厘米，其实是在地底下默默扎根，这就是属灵生命爆发前的深耕。

马来西亚神学院讲师——吴慧芬博士用超幽默的方式提醒我们，成长的秘密就在 3H：首先是心 (Heart)，别让对神的爱只剩模糊的回忆；接着是脑 (Head)，用真理更新想法，把忧愁变喜乐；最后是手 (Hand)，别再当那个名叫“其他人”的会友了！如果教会里的大小事都指望“其他人”去做，那你也会错失亲手服事、亲口尝到果子甘甜的机会。

Have you heard of the “Bamboo Law”? For years, bamboo barely grows above ground because it’s busy building deep roots—just like our spiritual life before a breakthrough. Dr. Elaine Goh shares that true growth happens through the 3H approach: a Heart that is still moved by God’s love, a Head that is refreshed by His Truth, and Hands that actually move. Don’t be that church member named “Someone Else” who leaves every task for others. If you always wait for “someone else” to serve, you’ll miss out on the incredible joy and sweetness that comes from being part of God’s work yourself!

世界有许多不同的职业与道路可以选择，人们往往为了达到世俗的标准，努力追求更高的收入、更好的地位，甚至借此证明自己的价值。然而，身为基督徒的我们，是否也应当如此呢？我们的生命焦点，不应只是建立在外在的成就上，而是回应神在我们生命中的呼召。

正如《提摩太后书 2:3–7》所提醒的，我们应当
1️⃣ 像士兵一样，专一委身，顺服主的带领，不让世俗的事务缠累自己，乃是主动服事，只求讨主的喜悦；
2️⃣ 也要像运动员一样，遵守属灵的原则与纪律，在日常的读经、祷告与操练中不断成长，活出有见证、能影响他人的生命；
3️⃣ 同时更要像农夫一样，凭着信心与耐心持续耕耘，无论环境如何都忠心付出，相信神必按祂的时间赐下收成。

因此，基督徒并不是不能有职业追求，而是要重新定义成功的意义——不再只是赚得多少、达到多高，而是是否活在神的心意中，是否忠心完成祂所托付的。无论身处什么岗位，我们都可以成为神所使用的人，在工作与生活中荣耀祂，并结出生命的果子。

In a world full of diverse paths, we often find ourselves chasing higher income and social status to validate our worth by worldly standards. However, as Christians, our focus should shift from external achievements to responding to God’s calling.
According to 2 Timothy 2:3–7, we are called to embody three roles:
* The Soldier: Dedicated and single-minded, serving purposefully to please the Commander rather than being entangled in worldly affairs.
* The Athlete: Disciplined and principled, growing through daily prayer and scripture to live a life of testimony.
* The Farmer: Patient and faithful, sowing seeds in confidence and trusting God to bring the harvest in His perfect timing.
Success is not measured by how much we earn or how high we climb, but by our faithfulness to His entrustment.Whatever our position, we can be instruments of God, glorifying Him through our work and bearing fruit that lasts.

“音乐不只是音符，更是生命的故事。” 🎼
由美佳梳邦堂主办的《给祂的手写信》诗歌创作训练会圆满落幕啦！✨ 现场汇聚了 32 位来自本堂及各教会的创作种子，大家不仅是在学写歌，更是尝试把对神的爱，一笔一画勾勒成动人的旋律。
课程一开始，周平光牧师先为大家稳住“地基”。他分享道：创作诗歌的真正意义，在于明白“为何而写”；只有心对了，笔下的动词才有灵魂。
随后，Jeremy 刘世颂直接开启“干货模式”！从零开始构思歌词，到巧妙编排旋律，大家在现场边学边写、脑力激荡。最令人感动的是，就在这一天，不少动人的歌曲雏形已经悄然诞生！
非常感恩能见证这些属灵音符的萌芽。诚如周牧师的鼓励：“不要放弃！” 因为我们永远不知道，神会如何使用这些诗歌，在未来的某个时刻触摸另一个生命。
期盼每位创作者都能完成这封“给祂的手写信”，继续带着这份初衷，为上帝谱写更多生命的诗篇！将荣耀全然归给神！🙌

“Music is more than just notes; it is the story of a life.” 🎼
The ”A Handwritten Letter to Him“ songwriting workshop, organized by Mega Subang CMC, concluded with great success! ✨ The event drew 32 aspiring songwriters from our church and others, all gathering to weave their love for God into beautiful melodies.
The workshop kicked off with Rev. Elson Chew, who helped everyone build a solid foundation. He shared that the true meaning of songwriting lies in understanding the ”why“ behind the music; only when the heart is aligned can the pen find its soul.
Next, Jeremy Law switched into ”practical mode,“ providing a wealth of insights. From brainstorming lyrics from scratch to arranging melodies, participants learned and wrote simultaneously in a vibrant atmosphere of creative synergy. By the end of the day, many touching song prototypes had already begun to take shape!
We are so grateful to see these spiritual notes beginning to sprout. As Rev. Chew encouraged everyone: “Don’t give up!”We never know how God might use these songs to touch another life in the future.
We look forward to everyone completing their ”handwritten letters to Him“ and continuing to compose more psalms for the Lord with this same passion. All glory be to God! 🙌
