Last Sunday, bro. Alvin Lee continued our series “The One Anothers” 💡 with his sermon “Living With One Another in Harmony”

Bro. Alvin highlighted that true biblical harmony is more than surface-level agreement 🤝, it is an active, love-driven pursuit rooted in humility, mutual submission, and quick forgiveness. Without love at the centre, our harmony becomes mere people-pleasing and obligation

The challenge is to reflect 🔍: before we insist on our own preferences, are we asking ourselves…. Is it true, is it good, and is it wise?

May we choose to yield in strength, forgive freely 🙌, and live in unity so that Christ’s love 🌟 underpins everything we do

Last Sunday, Bro. Eng Kim Leng shared with us under our new theme series “The One Anothers” with his sermon “Encourage One Another”

💡 Bro. Eng highlighted that encouragement is more than kind words. It is a way of living that uplifts, supports, and helps one another persevere in faith 🌟

🔍 The challenge is to reflect: are we being sources of encouragement, or do we sometimes discourage others through our attitudes and actions?

🙌 May we choose to be encouragers daily, shining Christ’s light by walking alongside one another with love, patience, and hope

Celebrating love, faith, and new beginnings! 💍✨💐

On July 11th, sisters from near and far gathered for a heartwarming bridal shower to celebrate our sweet Sis. Stella as she steps into this beautiful new chapter! 🤍

We were blessed by an inspiring devotion on fearing the Lord shared by Sis. Chui Hoon 📖, followed by lots of laughter as we played fun games to test how well we really know Stella and her groom, Calvin! 🎲🥳

Most importantly, we came together in prayer to cover Stella’s future home and marriage in God’s grace, guidance, and abundant blessings. 🙏✨ It was such a sweet afternoon of joy, fellowship, and celebration!

The Cost of Discipleship ✝️

Last Sunday, Bro. Kwan Tai Choom shared with us on the topic “The Cost of Discipleship”

📖 We were reminded that following Jesus is not a path of convenience, but one of commitment, where true discipleship requires sacrifice, obedience, and wholehearted devotion.

💡 Bro. Kwan emphasized that discipleship means putting Christ above all else — above comfort, possessions, and even personal ambitions. It is a call to deny ourselves, take up the cross, and follow Him faithfully.

🔍 The challenge is clear: are we willing to pay the cost of discipleship, trusting that what we gain in Christ far outweighs what we give up?

🙌 May we embrace this call with courage and conviction, shining our lights brightly as disciples who live with eternity in mind.

On May 9th, our church family came together for the sweetest Ladies Fellowship afternoon! With over 20 ladies and children in attendance, the room was filled with so much joy and warmth.

Sis. Kimberly shared an inspiring devotion on “the gift of one another.” After that, Sis. Joanne & Sis. Mag led us in crafting gorgeous pressed flower photo frames! 🖼️🌷

This sermon examines angels as real spiritual beings created by God, powerful yet fully subject to His authority. We will consider their service, obedience and ministry on behalf of God’s people, while correcting common misconceptions.

Most importantly, the message directs our attention beyond angels to Jesus Christ, whom angels worship and serve. 🙌

Last Sunday, bro. John Quek (from Klang Church of Christ ) shared a message on “Church Unity and Harmony.” 🤝

We learned that while unity is our shared faith, harmony is the beautiful way 🎶 diverse individuals work together peacefully. We were cautioned that complaints are a powerful ingredient for division ⚠️ and that rejecting God’s chosen leaders is ultimately a rejection of Him.

As Christians, we are called to serve with a sincere heart for God’s glory ❤️ rather than for a performance. As we reflect this week, let’s prioritize truth over personal feelings 🔍 and put in the effort to keep the unity of the Spirit. 🫶🏻
