Many are jaded by all the modern stuff going on. People visit us to experience the divine mystery and also hear solid preaching from the Bible. No fads and people pleasing activities. Just pure divine worship.

The rise of depression, burnout, and panic attack are troubling. We have many received help and healing through prayers, worship, counseling, guidance, and teachings. You can be healed and whole again. There is hope.

We are conducting sessions to help people understand the radical idea of "I believe in Jesus, I am saved." We began by clarifying how the radicals have distorted the Western Reformation and the doctrine of "Justification by Faith Alone." The sessions included the historical development, contexts, Luther's intent, and theology compared to those who have radicalized his teachings. I also covered the various categories of the Atonement of Christ to help them understand what it means by, "I am saved". These sessions not only edify the parish but also equip them to navigate the numerous strange doctrines came from the West, especially North America into our region, that led to many misconceptions from various groups about what it means to be followers of Christ. I’m encouraged by how much our parish enjoys and appreciates the learning.

Yesterday, the Church performed the Rite of Confirmation for the catechumens. Rev. Canon Ambrose Looi was given authority by our Archbishop to perform the Confirmation. 🕊️The catechumens were Christmated, anointed with the Holy Spirit, and is now in full communion with the Church.

Pray for them that they will live out the faith with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Holy Trinity Asia is not associated in any way with the Church of England. We have continuously been faithful with Scripture and the ways and traditions of the Apostles. We do not ordain women nor bless homosexual marriage. Obedience to the way, truth, and life of Christ will lead us to eternal happiness.

Today is Ascension Day. Remember our Lord Jesus did make disciples and ordained the Twelve to be Apostles. He spent 40 days with them before the Ascension, teaching them and enlightening them about Scripture and his work and mission.

He then ascended into heaven, taking our humanity to the right hand of the Father. He reigns as Lord and intercedes for us until He comes again in glory. 🙏🏻

A true shepherd knows his sheep by name, cares for their needs, and protects them from danger—even at the cost of his own life. The sheep, in turn, trust the shepherd’s voice and follow him.

Jesus uses this image to show how He relates to us:
- He knows each of us personally and loves us deeply.
- He leads, feeds, and protects us spiritually and eternally.
- He lays down His life for us, showing the greatest love (John 15:13).

His rising from the dead proves He is the true Shepherd who conquers sin and death for us.
St. Gregory the Great said, “He who is the Shepherd became a lamb to save His sheep.”
This is not a distant or cold relationship, but one of belonging, trust, and self-giving love. 🙏🏻

On this sacred day of Easter, we gather as one body to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the pivotal event that transforms history and our lives. The Resurrection is the triumph of life over death, light over darkness, and hope over despair. It is the fulfillment of God's promise, as foretold by the prophets and realized in Christ's victory. 🙏🏻
