I found a catch, guys. The last commandment "Thou shalt not covet" begins with shall not covet your neighbour's A or B or C and then it has a very clever, modern catch-all that says "or anything else your neighbour owns". Ok yall ready for the loophole?
I covet what my neighbour rents.
Dude, it doesn't work like that. I mean, renting as a method of financing something you possess probably wasn't even developed in Moses' time.
Yeah. That's why it's a loophole.
Besides, you don't have to covet what your neighbour rents because you can rent it too.
Ah but what if, unlike my neighbour, I don't have the money to rent it?
Then what you're really coveting is their money, which falls within the ambit of the commandment.
Hmmm. I see what you did there. Ok wait. I got another loophole.
-_-
I covet what my neighbour doesn't have. I covet their lack of problems, or lack of worries. Can right? Can covet what my neighbour doesn't have, right? Right?
