We are an Assemblies of God church which had its humble beginnings in 1981 in a small shop house in Taman Tan Chee Hoe. Then in 1985, we moved to a shop-house in Rahang. When the congregation grew larger still, the church occupied the former Seremban Bowling Centre, along Jln Tuanku Antah (Jln Rahang) in 1986. We went on to have two English services on Sundays. In 1999, we moved into our very own
premises at 25 Jalan Dato’ Muda Linggi. The church building consists of a 90° fan-shaped auditorium, a pergola linking the auditorium to the Educational and Administrative Block, and a large carpark area. A glass cross in the wall acts as a light shaft lighting the gallery by day and which appears lighted up when viewed from the outside by night. From the upper level of the Administrative and Educational Block, one has a good view of the scenic surroundings of houses and hills in the distance. The auditorium has 2 levels with a seating capacity of about 1000. Just above the back of the stage is a skylight opening which fills the stage with light from above. Behind the stage is a baptismal pool which is covered up with wooden panels when not in use. As the name of our church comes from the Greek word, AGAPE (meaning God’s love), we hope that we can share God’s love with everyone who attends our church. Our motto is ‘Reaching people, changing lives!’ - we want to reach people with God’s love and let God’s love transform lives. Our culture is ‘A look, a touch and a word’ - reflecting the name that we bear. We strive to give each one a look of acknowledgement, a touch of love and a word of blessing or encouragement in God’s love.
