讲题：从神得力，重新站起
经文：使徒行传3:1-10
今天是社会关怀主日。谈到社会关怀，我们通常想到的是物资、金钱、教育、工作机会和各种援助。这些都很重要，因为爱不能只是口号，也必须落实在行动中。
但今天我们要思想一个更深的盼望：真正改变一个人的，不只是环境的改变，而是生命遇见耶稣。使徒行传第三章，一个生来瘸腿的人，每天被人抬到圣殿的美门求周济。他的人生好像已经被定义——只能等待别人帮助。
直到有一天，他遇见彼得和约翰。彼得对他说：“我奉拿撒勒人耶稣基督的名，叫你起来行走！”彼得拉着他的手，扶他起来。他的脚和踝子骨立刻健壮了。他站起来、行走、跳跃，并进入圣殿赞美神。
一个原本只能坐着等待的人，重新站起来了。今天这段经文给我们三个得着：第一，看见人。彼得没有忽略这个人，而是停下来，看见他的需要。社会关怀不是只看见一个人的问题，而是看见他的尊严、价值和盼望。今天我们身边也有许多需要帮助的人。我们是否愿意停下来，看见他们？
第二，伸出手。彼得不只是说：“我爱你。”他实际拉着他的手，扶他起来。有时候，一个人需要的不只是金钱，而是陪伴、鼓励、训练、工作机会，甚至只是有人愿意相信他。真正的爱，一定会产生行动。
第三，从被帮助成为祝福。那个瘸腿的人原本需要别人扶着，后来却能够自己站起来，并进入圣殿赞美神。这也是我们社会关怀的盼望：不是让人永远成为接受帮助的人，而是帮助他重新建立能力、恢复尊严，甚至有一天成为帮助别人的人。
Ivy 姐妹的生命就是一个很好的见证。16岁以前，她是一名运动员，可以跑、可以跳。后来因为脊椎出血压迫神经，她失去了下半身的知觉，人生突然完全改变。她曾经问：“为什么是我？我的人生还有什么意义？”甚至在绝望中想结束自己的生命。
但后来，她认识了耶稣。透过神的话，她慢慢明白：我的价值，不是因为我能不能走路，而是因为我是上帝所爱的人。后来，她接受训练、完成学业，参加轮椅乒乓球比赛，代表国家参加国际赛事。更重要的是，她选择去帮助其他残障朋友。她从一个需要帮助的人，成为帮助别人的人。这就是生命的重建。
哥林多后书5:17告诉我们：“若有人在基督里，他就是新造的人。”信耶稣不是说我们从此没有困难，而是说：困难不能决定我们的结局。疾病不能决定我们的价值。过去不能决定我们的未来。别人的眼光也不能决定我们的身份。因为我们的身份是在基督里。
以赛亚书40:29说：“疲乏的，他赐能力；软弱的，他加力量。”弟兄姐妹，也许今天你也很疲乏。也许你面对家庭、经济、身体或人生的压力；也许你觉得自己没有价值，甚至觉得自己是别人的负担。今天神要对你说：“起来！”不是靠自己的力量，而是靠着耶稣基督。
❤️ 遇见耶稣，生命就有盼望。
💪 依靠耶稣，软弱可以重新得力。
🤲 经历耶稣，我们也能成为别人的祝福。
所以，让我们记得三个行动：看见需要的人，伸出我们的手，帮助他们重新站起来。也许神给你的是金钱，可以奉献；给你的是时间，可以陪伴；给你的是专业，可以教导；给你的是资源，可以分享。
最重要的是，让我们的生命成为一双手，把人带到耶稣面前。从破碎走向更新，从软弱走向刚强，从接受爱的人，成为分享爱的人，从被帮助的人，成为帮助别人的人。愿更多人透过我们的生命，看见耶稣基督。愿一切荣耀、颂赞归给我们的上帝。

Scripture: Acts 3:1–10
Today is Social Concern Sunday. When we talk about social concern, we often think of material aid, money, education, job opportunities, and various forms of assistance. These are important, because love cannot remain a slogan — it must be lived out in action.
But today we reflect on a deeper hope: what truly transforms a person is not only a change in circumstances, but an encounter with Jesus. In Acts 3, a man born lame was carried daily to the temple gate called Beautiful to beg. His life seemed defined — he could only wait for others to help him.
Until one day, he met Peter and John. Peter said to him: “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!” Peter took him by the hand and helped him up. Immediately his feet and ankles became strong. He stood, walked, leaped, and entered the temple praising God.
A man who once could only sit and wait was able to stand again. This passage gives us three lessons:
1. See people. Peter did not ignore him but stopped to notice his need. Social concern is not just about problems, but about dignity, value, and hope. Do we stop to see those around us who need help?
2. Reach out a hand. Peter didn’t just say “I love you.” He physically took his hand and lifted him up. Sometimes what someone needs is not money, but companionship, encouragement, training, a job opportunity, or simply someone who believes in them. True love always leads to action.
3. From being helped to becoming a blessing. The lame man once needed others to carry him, but later he stood on his own and praised God. This is the hope of social concern: not to keep people dependent, but to help them rebuild ability, restore dignity, and one day become helpers themselves.
Sister Ivy’s life is a powerful testimony. Before age 16, she was an athlete who could run and jump. Later, due to spinal bleeding compressing her nerves, she lost sensation in her lower body. Her life changed completely. She asked, “Why me? What meaning does my life have?” and even thought of ending her life in despair.
But then she met Jesus. Through God’s Word, she slowly understood: her value was not in whether she could walk, but in being loved by God. She trained, completed her studies, competed in wheelchair table tennis, and represented the nation internationally. More importantly, she chose to help other friends with disabilities. She moved from being one who needed help to one who helps others. This is the rebuilding of life.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” Believing in Jesus does not mean we will have no difficulties, but that difficulties cannot define our destiny. Illness cannot define our worth. The past cannot define our future. Other people’s opinions cannot define our identity. Our identity is in Christ.
Isaiah 40:29 says: “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” Brothers and sisters, maybe today you feel weary. Maybe you face pressures in family, finances, health, or life. Maybe you feel worthless, even a burden. Today God says to you: “Rise up!” Not by your own strength, but by Jesus Christ.
❤️ Encounter Jesus, and life has hope.
💪 Rely on Jesus, and weakness becomes strength.
🤲 Experience Jesus, and we can become a blessing to others.
So let us remember three actions: see those in need, reach out our hands, and help them stand again. Maybe God has given you money to give, time to accompany, skills to teach, or resources to share.
Most importantly, let our lives be the hands that bring people to Jesus. From brokenness to renewal, from weakness to strength, from receiving love to sharing love, from being helped to helping others. May more people see Jesus Christ through our lives. May all glory and praise be to our God.
