With hearts full of gratitude, we rejoice in the successful completion of last night's Guru Rinpoche Tsok Offering held at our new Dharma Centre.

On this most auspicious day—the 10th Day of the Tibetan Lunar Month, commemorating the sacred birthday of Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) and His Holiness the 2nd Dudjom Rinpoche—devotees gathered together to make offerings, recite prayers, accumulate merit, and receive the profound blessings of Guru Rinpoche.

🙏 We sincerely thank all the Dharma brothers and sisters, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who took time to attend and support this precious gathering. Your devotion, generosity, and participation made the evening truly meaningful.

May the merit accumulated through this Tsok Offering be dedicated to:

Celebrating the Sacred Birthday of Guru Padmasambhava & His Holiness the 2nd Dudjom Rinpoche 🌈🪷

🙏 This Friday marks the auspicious 10th day of the Tibetan lunar month!

This sacred day commemorates the birth anniversary of Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche), the Second Buddha, as well as the birthday of His Holiness the 2nd Dudjom Rinpoche, one of the greatest masters of the Nyingma tradition.

In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the 10th day of every Tibetan lunar month is especially dedicated to Guru Rinpoche. It is regarded as one of the most auspicious days to engage in Dharma practice. Reciting prayers and mantras, making offerings, participating in Tsok Offering (Ganachakra), and practising the Dharma on this day are believed to generate immense merit, purify negative karma, remove obstacles, and receive Guru Rinpoche's profound blessings.

🪷 Happy Chökhor Düchen 🪷

From Dzogchen Ngodupling Dharma Society (DNDS)

Today we joyfully celebrate Chökhor Düchen (ཆོས་འཁོར་དུས་ཆེན་), one of the Four Great Buddhist Festivals commemorated throughout the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.

The History of Chökhor Düchen

Approximately 2,600 years ago, after attaining complete enlightenment beneath the Bodhi Tree at Bodh Gaya, Lord Buddha remained in meditative silence for several weeks. Initially, He considered that the profound truth He had realized was too deep for ordinary beings to understand.

Moved by the compassionate requests of Brahma Sahampati and Indra, the Buddha decided to teach the Dharma for the benefit of all sentient beings.

He then journeyed to Deer Park at Sarnath, India, where He delivered His First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma to the Five Ascetics. During this historic teaching, the Buddha expounded the Four Noble Truths, laying the foundation of the entire Buddhist path.

This sacred event marked the beginning of the Buddha's public teaching and the establishment of the Three Jewels: The Buddha, The Dharma and The Sangha

One of the five disciples, Kauṇḍinya, attained realization upon hearing this teaching, becoming the first member of the Arya Sangha.

Why Is This Day So Special?

According to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the karmic effects of both positive and negative actions are greatly multiplied on this auspicious day.

It is therefore an excellent opportunity to: Offer prayers and butter lamps , Read or recite Buddhist scriptures ,Chant mantras , Practice generosity and compassion , Meditate and dedicate merits for the benefit of all beings

Our Aspiration

May the wisdom of the Buddha continue to illuminate the world. May the precious Dharma flourish in every direction. May all sentient beings be free from suffering and attain lasting peace and enlightenment.

今天，我們歡喜迎來藏傳佛教四大聖節之一——法輪日（Chökhor Düchen，ཆོས་འཁོར་དུས་ཆེན་）。

法輪日紀念佛陀於成道後，首次宣說佛法、開啟法輪的重要時刻，是佛教歷史上極具意義的殊勝節日。

法輪日的由來

約二千六百年前，釋迦牟尼佛於印度菩提迦耶菩提樹下證得無上正等正覺。成道後，佛陀安住於禪定之中數週，並曾思惟自己所證悟的真理深奧微妙，恐怕眾生難以理解，因此一度不欲說法。

後來，因梵天王（Brahma Sahampati）與帝釋天（Indra）誠心勸請，佛陀悲憫眾生，決定宣說正法，引導眾生離苦得樂。

佛陀隨後前往印度鹿野苑（Sarnath Deer Park），向五比丘宣說了初轉法輪，開示了佛教最根本的教義——四聖諦（苦、集、滅、道），奠定了整個佛法修行的基礎。

此次說法不僅開啟了佛陀弘法利生的事業，也標誌著三寶——佛、法、僧正式具足。

五比丘中的憍陳如尊者（Kauṇḍinya）於聞法後證悟聖果，成為第一位證果的弟子，也是聖僧僧團（Arya Sangha）的第一位成員。

為何法輪日如此殊勝？

根據藏傳佛教傳統，法輪日是一個功德極為殊勝的吉祥日。在這一天所造作的善業與惡業，其果報皆會倍增，因此特別鼓勵大家把握此殊勝因緣，廣修福慧。

適合於今日修持的善行包括：

供燈、供水、供花及供養三寶
恭誦佛經、閱讀佛法典籍

持誦佛號、心咒及各種經咒
廣行布施，培養慈悲心與菩提心

禪修止觀，並將一切功德迴向法界眾生

🙏 我們共同的祈願

願佛陀的智慧光明遍照世間，
願清淨正法廣弘十方，法輪常轉，
願一切眾生遠離痛苦，獲得安樂，
最終皆能成就無上菩提。

Due to the expiration of our current tenancy agreement, as well as ongoing environmental and hygiene concerns in the surrounding area, our Buddhist Center will be relocating to a new premises. Our aspiration is to establish a cleaner, more peaceful, and conducive environment for Dharma practice, study, and spiritual growth.

However, the relocation involves substantial expenses, including rental deposits, renovation and setup costs, transportation, and other essential facilities.
