✨ A SON OF ST ANNE’S ORDAINED TO THE DIACONATE ✨
With hearts filled with joy and thanksgiving, the Church of St Anne, Port Klang, rejoices in the ordination of our own son, Bro. Albert Arputhan a/l Maniam, to the Order of Deacon. 🙏❤️

On Wednesday, 16 September 2026, Bro. Albert was ordained a Deacon by Archbishop Julian Leow, D.D., at the Church of the Divine Mercy, Shah Alam.

For our parish community, this is a truly special and grace-filled occasion. Bro. Albert is a son of St Anne’s Parish, and we have had the privilege of witnessing his journey of faith, discernment and formation as he responded generously to God’s call.

His journey took him through College General, Penang, St Peter’s College, Kuching, and finally The National Seminary of Our Lady of Lanka, Kandy, Sri Lanka, where he completed his theological formation.

Today, we give thanks to God for calling Bro. Albert to serve Him and His Church in a new way.

“Here I am, Lord; I come to do Your will.”
— Psalm 40:8

Dear Deacon Albert, as you begin your ministry of service, may the Lord strengthen you with His grace, deepen your love for Christ, and give you a generous and faithful heart as you serve the People of God.

May you always remember your roots here at St Anne’s, Port Klang, the parish community that continues to accompany you with love and prayer.

Congratulations, Deacon Albert! 🎉🙏
We are proud of you and grateful to God for your vocation.

May St Anne, our patroness, continue to intercede for you and guide you in your journey towards the priesthood.

Please continue to keep Deacon Albert in your prayers. 🙏
