Symbolising unity in diversity, the Perjalanan SALIB is made up of nine crosses, nine-foot-tall and five feet wide— each representing one of the country’s dioceses and adorned with the Bunga Raya, 🌺 Malaysia’s national flower. The flower signifies national unity, freedom, and the triumph of Christ’s love.🕊️

Perjalanan SALIB officially commenced on April 3, 2025, during MCYD2025. The cross was separated into nine individual salibs — one for each diocese — and journeyed across Malaysia until August 2026. 🇲🇾

At MPC2026 , the nine salibs will be united into a single Crucifix. The Perjalanan SALIB is a powerful symbol of our collective prayer, 🙏 hope,🌿and faith ✝️ as the Catholic Church of Malaysia.
