🕊️ Life Release 16/8/2026

Last Sunday, we carried out a meaningful life-release activity, during which approximately 15,000 kg of fish were released back into their natural habitat.

The purpose of life release is to help us recognise the preciousness of every living being and deepen our understanding of cyclic existence. All beings cherish their lives and wish to be free from fear and suffering.

By releasing lives, we practise generosity and compassion—offering beings in danger a second chance to live freely. Although we may not know how long they will live, our act of protecting them gives them another opportunity to experience freedom, safety, and happiness.

May the merits of this compassionate act be dedicated to the well-being of all sentient beings. May they be free from suffering and its causes, and may all beings attain lasting peace and happiness. 🙏

上个星期日，我们举行了一场意义深远的放生活动，将约 15,000公斤的鱼儿放归自然。

放生的意义，是让我们认识每一个生命的价值，并进一步体悟六道轮回中的生命皆渴望离苦得乐。每一个众生都珍爱自己的生命，希望远离恐惧与痛苦。

通过放生，我们实践布施与慈悲，为正处于危险中的生命争取再次生存的机会。虽然我们不知道它们还能活多久，但在保护它们、给予它们自由的那一刻，我们也为它们创造了继续感受安宁、自在与快乐的机会。

愿将此次放生的善行功德，回向一切有情众生。愿众生远离一切痛苦及痛苦之因，获得恒久的安乐与自在。🙏

Chokhor Duchen – The First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma

Today, the 4th day of the 6th month in the Tibetan calendar, we celebrate Chokhor Duchen, one of the four great Buddhist festivals.

Forty-nine days after attaining perfect enlightenment beneath the Bodhi Tree, Buddha Śākyamuni journeyed to the sacred Deer Park at Sarnath (Varanasi). There, out of boundless compassion, He turned the Wheel of Dharma for the very first time, revealing to the five ascetics the profound teaching of the Four Noble Truths - the truths of suffering, its origin, its cessation and the path leading to liberation. From that moment, the light of the Dharma began to illuminate the world, dispelling the darkness of ignorance for countless beings.

On this most auspicious day, the merit of every wholesome deed is said to be multiplied a billionfold. May we remember the immeasurable kindness of the Buddha Śākyamuni with gratitude and unwavering faith. Let us seize this precious opportunity to cultivate virtue, refrain from harmful actions, and dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly to the path of awakening.

Whether through releasing lives, offering lamps, reciting sutras and mantras, observing a vegetarian diet, practising generosity, meditation or any act of kindness, may every virtuous action become a cause for the happiness and liberation of all sentient beings.

May we practise with sincerity, free from distraction, and conclude by dedicating all accumulated merit to the enlightenment of every being throughout space.

今日藏历六月初四──佛陀初转法轮殊胜日（初转法轮节）

今日为藏历六月初四，是佛教四大殊胜节日之一——佛陀初转法轮日（初转法轮节，Chokhor Duchen）。

释迦牟尼佛于菩提树下证得无上正等正觉后，历经四十九日，于印度鹿野苑（今瓦拉纳西近郊的萨尔纳特），以无尽慈悲，为五比丘——阿若憍陈如、马胜、跋提、十力迦叶、摩诃男拘利，首次宣说苦、集、灭、道四圣谛，开启了佛法住世、利益众生的伟大历程。从此，智慧之光照耀世间，无明黑暗渐次消融，无数众生因此踏上解脱觉悟之道。

值此殊胜吉祥之日，一切善业功德皆得增上十亿倍。愿我们忆念佛陀无量恩德，生起坚定信心，精进修持，诸恶莫作，众善奉行，不虚度此难得因缘。

无论是放生、供灯、诵经、持咒、茹素、布施、禅修，乃至一句善言、一念慈悲、一分善行，皆成为成就菩提、利益无量众生的广大资粮。

愿大众远离散乱，以至诚清净之心精进修善，并如法回向，愿一切功德普皆回向法界有情，愿众生离苦得乐，究竟成佛。

🍃 Dzamling Chi Sang 2026- Universal Sang Offering Day
29 June 2026

On the sacred day of Dzamling Chi Sang (Universal Sang Offering Day), Tulku Palden Nyima Rinpoche and devotees of Kunzang Chokhor Ling gathered on a hilltop to perform the Sang Offering.

As the prayers filled the air, Lungta (Windhorse Prayer Flags) were raised in the four directions in blue, green, white, and red. With every gentle breeze, the prayers carried by the wind spread blessings throughout the world— increasing our life force, good fortune, prosperity, courage, and the conditions for success in all virtuous activities.

Together, we also offered the finest incense, fragrant herbs, flowers, and other pure offerings to the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Dharma Protectors, local deities, and all enlightened beings. Through the sacred sang offering, may obscurations, unseen obstacles, negative influences, and adverse conditions be purified, allowing wisdom, harmony, health, and auspiciousness to flourish.

Victory to the Gods!

May all the virtuous activities we are about to undertake roar across the world like the mighty Snow Lion, fearless and victorious. Blessed by the incomparable King Gesar, may all obstacles, harmful forces, and negativities be completely overcome. May virtue increase, may the Dharma flourish, and may all beings enjoy peace, happiness, and perfect auspiciousness.
