Upholding unity, harmony & understanding among Vajrayana Buddhist organisations in Malaysia since 2002. VBCM is the umbrella body representing Vajrayana (Tibetan Buddhism) in Malaysia comprising of Nyingma, Kagyu, Sakya, Gelug and Reme traditions. We work closely with Malaysia Buddhist Consultative Council (MBCC) and Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism (MCCBCHST) and major Buddhist organization in Malaysia and around the world.

What if we don’t attain realization in this lifetime?

In his teachings on the bardos, Mingyur Rinpoche explains that there are different opportunities for liberation—through realizing our true nature in this lifetime, recognizing it during the bardo of death and dying or the bardo of dharmata, or, if that does not happen, through rebirth in Amitabha’s Pure Land.

This is why Amitabha teachings and Pure Land practice are so important.

Once reborn in Amitabha’s Pure Land, our practice will no longer regress, and we will ultimately attain complete enlightenment. By practising now, we can cultivate the causes and conditions for rebirth there.

You could think of Pure Land practice as a kind of additional source of confidence and “insurance” on the journey toward liberation.

This November, join Mingyur Rinpoche in Penang for two days of Teachings on Amitabha Practice, including the Four Causes for Rebirth in the Pure Land and practical guidance on how to cultivate them.
