Our founder, Blessed James Alberione, was an Italian priest, who lived between the years 1884 and 1971. As a young seminarian, he saw the urgent need for a special apostolate in the Church for the new century, one that makes use of the new means invented by modern technology to b

ring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world. Eventually, he founded ten Congregations that the Church calls the Pauline Family. We are nuns who work with media. Founded in 1915, we are present in more than 50 countries in the world today. We arrived in West Malaysia in 1965 and in East Malaysia in 1989. In Malaysia today, we serve the Church through two media centers distributing Christian books, CDs, DVDs and religious ornaments to Christians. The sisters also visit parishes in the neighbouring dioceses with these materials, as well as present media literacy talks as well as conduct visits to the homes of the parishioners.
