🎄Early Christmas Celebration Update
What a joyful week it has been! Our Christmas celebration 14/12/2025 last week was filled with laughter, worship, and meaningful moments shared across our church family. Thank you to every helper, and parent who helped make it a beautiful and memorable time for our children.

⛪ Children’s Church Closure Notice
Please take note that Children’s Church will be closed until further notice. We’re excited to share that next year will bring significant changes, including the introduction of a new Sunday School principal who will be overseeing the year of 2026–2027. It will be a challenging season of transition, but we trust that God is in control, and we hold firmly to the truth that God is good in every step we take.

📣 Children’s Church Highlights – September Edition 🌊✝️
This month, our children explored the heartfelt question: “Why did Jesus have to die?” Through creative activities and deep conversations, they discovered the meaning of Jesus’ sacrifice and the depth of God’s love—even in everyday moments like playing at the beach.
🎨 Art & Craft with Teacher Angeline
Children built colorful sandcastles on beach-themed pages, reminding them that God loves us wherever we are—even at the beach! 🏖️ As they imagined building castles and playing with sand, they also shared stories from their own lives. It was a joyful time of creativity and connection. 🦀✨
📖 Bible Lesson with Teacher Min Min
We tackled a big question: “Why did Jesus have to die?” Many children had never thought about this before, and it opened the door to meaningful discussion. The lesson helped them understand Jesus’ love and the purpose of His sacrifice. 💬❤️
🙏 Breakthrough Moment
A special highlight—Chiang Kong led the closing prayer with the children. It was a powerful moment that showed how God is moving in his life and inspiring others. We’re so encouraged by the spiritual growth we’re seeing in our little ones. 🌟

📣 Children’s Church Highlights – August Edition 🌟
In August, our little ones explored the powerful question: “Is God the only God?” through the story of the paralyzed man and Jesus in the book of Mark. This lesson helped us discover who Jesus is—and reminded us that just like the paralyzed man, we too can seek Jesus for help. 💬
We also learned about the faith of the man’s friends, who didn’t give up but carried him to Jesus. Their determination showed us how important it is to have faith and help one another grow closer to God. 🙌

🎨 Art & Craft with Mummy Swee Yin
Children crafted beautiful starfish masterpieces, a gentle reminder that just as God cares for the sea stars, He cares deeply for each of us. Every glittering arm of the starfish reflects God’s strength and love. 🌊✨

📖 Bible Story Reenactment
To bring the story to life, Teacher Nicholas invited Mika to play the paralyzed man, while the other children became her faithful friends—carrying her to “Jesus” just like in the Bible. This hands-on activity helped the children remember the story in a fun and meaningful way. 🎭

❓ Faith Q&A Time
We also tackled some big questions, like: “What’s the difference between God and Jesus?” The children’s curiosity and thoughtful responses made this a rich time of learning and discovery. 🧠💡

🎲 Game Time Challenge
Before playing, the children memorized a Bible verse. Then came the fun: arranging colorful fish pieces in the correct order to see who could finish first! 🐟⏱️ It was a joyful mix of learning, laughter, and friendly competition.

We’re so proud of our children for growing in faith, creativity, and teamwork. Let’s continue to pray for their hearts to be open to God’s truth and love.

📌 Children’s Church – July Highlights📌

👩‍🏫 Bible Lesson with Teacher Min Min
This month, our children dove into the dramatic showdown between Elijah and the prophets of Baal. Guided by Teacher Min Min, they explored how Elijah stood boldly for God's truth even when surrounded by opposition. Through storytelling, the children saw how God's fire consumed the offering—reminding us all that the God we serve is mighty, faithful, and worthy of our trust.
🗿✨As part of our Bible journey through Elijah’s confrontation with the prophets of Baal, each child crafted their own “fake god” and shared what does the fake god they create can do.

🎲 Game Time with Teacher Jien Rong
"Steal the Sea Animals" Transforming a classic into a biblical reflection, Teacher Jien Rong introduced a high-energy game inspired by “Steal the Bacon”—but this time, it was “Steal the Sea Animals”!
🐠🐬 Each sea creature represented something God provides—like strength, protection, love, and provision. As children raced to collect them, they were reminded that our one true God gives us all we need and has the power to watch over us. The laughter, excitement, and teamwork built bonds while reinforcing spiritual truths in a playful, memorable way.

✨ Children's Church May Recap – Learning About God's Love! ✨

Last month in our Children's Church, we explored the story of Cornelius and Peter, discovering how God's love extends to everyone! 💙

📖 Bible Lesson 📖
Teacher Min Min guided the children through Cornelius' journey to knowing God and Peter's vision of the unclean animals. The children dove deep into the Word, searching for answers from bible and learning how Peter played a key role in sharing God's love!

🎨 Art & Craft 🎨
Since our lesson focused on God's unfailing love, we celebrated Mother’s Day by creating beautiful flower masterpieces that lead by Teacher Angeline! Through this, the children learned how Jesus’ love is unconditional—just like the love of a mother. It was heartwarming to see them gift their creations to their moms! 💐

🎯 Game Lesson 🎯
Fun and learning go hand in hand! The children played an interactive game where they knocked down paper sheets with sandbags and revealed Bible story pictures. They then shared the meaning behind each picture, growing in their understanding while enjoying playtime together!

Children’s Church is a place where young hearts grow in faith, creativity, and love. We are so grateful to see them learning and sharing God's love with joy!

A reminder to all parent that this week our children church will start after the Praise and worship at the sanctuary.

✨ April Highlights at GMAD Children Church✨

What a wonderful month we've had, filled with faith, fun, and fellowship!

📖 Bible Story & Lesson – Teacher Min Min led our children through the story of Barnabas, teaching them the importance of giving to those in need and showing kindness, just as Jesus did. Not to forget, thanks to Mummy Vee Yee, the children had an exciting time hunting for Easter eggs before diving into their Bible lesson. It was a joyful way to celebrate Easter Day!

🎨 Arts & Crafts Lesson – Mummy Swee Yin guided the little ones in a puppet-making activity. While children had their own unique approach—straying from the instructions in their own creative ways—they still managed to work together, supporting each other to complete their masterpieces. A wonderful lesson in collaboration and embracing individuality!

🕵️‍♂️ Game Lesson – Brother Jien Rong led an engaging game where children searched for Bible verses hidden around the church. Not only did they piece together meaningful scripture, but they also learned to memorize and reflect on its message of helping one another when the time has come

It’s always heartwarming to see our children grow in faith and friendship through these meaningful activities. Thank you to all parents, teachers, and volunteers for making this month so special! 💖

🌟 March Activity Recap at Children's Church! 🌟

What a meaningful and exciting month it has been for our children! Here's a look at what we’ve been up to:

✨ Faith Lesson with Teacher Min Min✨
Our kids learned about the story of Andrew from the New Testament—a disciple who shared the good news of Jesus with his brother Simon and brought him to Jesus. Through this lesson, the children discovered the importance of sharing their faith and beliefs with others. The children had trouble remembering the name "Philip," one of the characters in the Bible lesson, so we introduced a toy frog named Philip. Whenever we tested the kids on how many characters were in the story, they always forgot Philip—until we asked them for the name of the frog. Their excitement was contagious as they loudly called out "Philip!"

🎨 Art & Craft with Teacher Angeline🎨
At first, the children had no idea what to draw or design for their keychains. But we held onto the truth that God is good all the time, and it was amazing to see how their creativity unfolded. They began inspiring one another, and with encouragement, they completed their unique keychain masterpieces. Each keychain told a story, starting from the Sun (representing God's Creation) to the Fish (symbolizing obedience to Jesus). These wonderful creations also serve as tools for sharing the good news with their friends.

🎲 Games with Teacher Nicholas 🎲
In this lesson, the children jumped on colorful paper mats and performed actions based on the instructions on each color, such as clapping hands 10 times or doing 10 push-ups. These colored papers symbolized the challenges of sharing the good news—some tasks were easier, while others were more difficult. Despite only having two children attend due to many feeling unwell, their energy and enthusiasm made the activity a meaningful reminder of the perseverance and courage needed in spreading God’s love.

Thank you, teachers and parents, for making March such a blessed and enriching month for our children! We can’t wait to see what April has in store. Stay tuned! 🙏✨
