Join us for Study Skills, a subject designed to prepare students for academic study.

Whether you are looking to strengthen your academic foundations or begin formal theological education, this subject aims to equip students with the essential tools needed for effective learning.

Open to anyone who has completed Bible Overview and is interested in further study with Equip Seminary without further commitment. Academic credit earned may be applied towards Equip Seminary’s Diploma and Degree programmes within three years of completion.

Last Thursday, we had our final Chapel Service for the semester. It was a wonderful time of listening to the exposition from 2 Timothy 2:8–13 and enjoying fellowship together afterwards.

This week marks the beginning of Study Week as our students complete their final assignments and prepare for their examinations next week.

Please join us in praying for our students as they wrap up the semester. May the Lord grant them wisdom, diligence, and clarity of mind as they complete their assignments and exams, and bring to remembrance the things they have learned. Above all, pray that their studies would lead them to love Christ more deeply and serve Him more faithfully.

What does the Bible actually say about prayer? What difference does Jesus’ coming make to how we pray and what we pray for? All too often, how we think and speak about prayer is vague and our patterns in prayer based as much on convention or habit as it is on the Scriptures. This seminar will aim to examine the shape and content of what the whole Bible teaches us about what prayer is (and isn’t) and the kinds of prayers we should commit to, because these are the kinds of prayers that God has already committed himself to answer.

The new academic year kicked off with great excitement on 12 January 2026, and what a joyful start it was! We were delighted to welcome both our returning students and our new intake as they joined the Equip Seminary community.

From laughter and teamwork during our SS2 neighbourhood scavenger hunt, to meaningful fellowship over food, the day was filled with energy and connection. Along the way, students were also briefly introduced to our Dean of Students and Chaplain, marking the beginning of relationships that will support them throughout the year, both academically and spiritually.

The programme continued with a series of sessions designed to help our students succeed in their studies. We were encouraged by two of our own students, who shared practical study tips from their experience, and our Principal, who challenged everyone to excel in their theological training.

We invite you to join us in prayer for our students and faculty, that this year will be marked by faithfulness, growth, and fruitfulness for God’s glory.
