The significance of Ullambana Festival Memorial Service for devotees to express their gratitude to their ancestors, parents, teachers and loved ones for their kindness, and to relieve them and all sentient beings of the three lower realms from suffering and to be born in the Sukhavati Pure land.

Brothers and Sisters, It has been a long time since we conducted a talk at Passaddhi Centre.
To commemorate the Renunciation of Guan Yin, we have invited Bro Chong Hung Wang to share with us on who the Guan Yin is. The topic of his talk is:
Who is the Guanyin Avalokistevara Boddhisatva(Guanyin)...認识观世音菩萨.
Many of us pray to the Guan Yin so this is a great opportunity to know who we are praying to!
As we still must respect Social Distancing, we will limit attendees to a max. of 15 pax. Keep a lookout for further updates. All are welcome to join.

Good morning Brothers and Sisters. We will be opening up Passaddhi Centre and conducting puja and lunch dana this Saturday. Bhante has also agreed to give a talk on where we may possibly go to after this life. More importantly, how do we increase our chances of going to the plane of existence we would like to spend the next life in.
We have taken note of the need for distancing so will limit attendance to a max of 20. To cater to those who would like to join the dhamma sharing via Zoom, keep tuned into this chat group for updates.
As per the new norm, we expect those coming to the centre to be free of symptoms, wearing masks and mindful of the need for distancing. Thank you.
