The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Grace Chapel, was seen on Sunday, November the 22nd, inundated to the brim as always, with the faithful members and friends of the church as she celebrated her 3rd anniversary of a laudable missionary and evangelism in Damansara Damai. In his sermon, the high-spirited and yet very humble man of God, Pastor.Pedro Paschal in his usual manner metaphorically enjoined the church to desist from an act of one running faster than one's shadows, and instead always maintain a gentle walk with God, and to remain resolute in prayer by trusting in God's own timing and shun all vices capable of ruining their lives and God given destinies. The topic of his message was derived from the book of the Psalms, Chapter 124:1; "WHAT IF THE LORD WAS NOT ON OUR SIDE" and the purported chapter-verses were unanimously read by the congregation from verses 1 to the last,as the 8th verse was echoed in affirmation that our help couldn't have come from man but God alone who made heaven and earth. The approved text was taken from the ACTS OF THE APOSTLES, 23:12-22, where the Pastor had stretched on the unshakable faith and focus found in the life of Paul the Apostle, and thereby boldly spoke against the nauseating plummet in faith which is seen leading most believers towards the fe**sh paths in their quest to receive quick answers to their positive expectations and life of comfort. While the preaching lasted, he solemnly warned all to be wary of the path which they commit their precious souls through covenants of any kinds, in their life's journey. The clergy further frowned at the high concentration of gossip among brethren in all works of life especially among believers, which he said is a dangerous cankerworm that is eating up the genuine minds of the people thereby occupying the supposedly abode of love. In his plausible closing remarks after the anniversary cake was introduced, jointly cut by all members upon the spelt of the Jesus's name, and the wine toasted, Pastor Paschal prayed for everyone present in the church and committed the activities and safety of the new week into the hands of God. He challenged all to return to God in sober reflection and meditation through prayers since no one has become 'persona non grata' unto our merciful God who affected us with the unconditional love while we were yet sinners. He further prayed for the leaders and faithfuls of the Redeemed Christian Church of God worldwide, that God in His infinite mercies will hold and protect His church and strengthen those whom He has called to serve in His vineyard. Hitherto, 6pm of the same date after the service had ended, deliverance and prayers were still on in the church as most members and first-timers wouldn't want to go home without having a tete a tete with the man of God in his office, who will eventually bring them before the alter of God for prayers where he will place demands from God on their behalf. Below are some of the photos of the special event of the day,and more are coming later. Enjoy and be blessed!!!
