It looks like Jesus.

He walked with people. ❤️
He proclaimed the Good News. 📖
He healed the sick. 🤲
He welcomed the outcast. 🤝
He revealed the Kingdom of God through every word, every action, and every relationship. ✨

As His followers, we are sent into the world in the same way. "As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." (John 20:21)

At Interserve, we believe God's mission is wholistic because Jesus is Lord over all. His transforming love reaches every part of life—our hearts, families, workplaces, communities, and creation. 🌱🌏

What if your excuse is exactly what God wants to work with? 🤔✨

For years, people have stayed on the sidelines of missions — not out of rebellion, but out of doubt. 😔 Doubt that they're qualified enough, young enough, resourced enough, or gifted enough to make a difference. 🌱

But look at who God chose throughout Scripture. 📖
Moses the stutterer. 🗣️
David the shepherd boy. 🐑
Paul the persecutor. ⛓️

God has never been limited by human weakness — in fact, He prefers it. 🙌💪

🤔 Many believers assume that missions is only for a select few with extraordinary gifts, unwavering courage, and exceptional faith.

But the truth is...

🙌 God has always used ordinary people who are willing to obey Him.

😟 You may not feel qualified.
😬 You may not feel ready.
🦸‍♂️ You may not feel like a "super" Christian.

But God is not asking for perfection.
❤️ He is asking for willingness.

The question is not:

❓ "How difficult is the task?"

The question is:

🌎✨ "How big is our God?"

You don't have to be a "super" Christian.
🙋 You only need to be willing.

Because God does extraordinary things through ordinary people. ✨

There comes a moment in every believer's life when God asks you to lay down the very thing you've built your identity on. 🙌

For one missionary doctor, that thing was medicine — a career years in the making, a reputation earned, a livelihood at its peak. And yet, the call to Asia was clear. The positions weren't available. The visa required a different role. The career had to go.

What followed wasn't instant peace. 💔 It was nights of weeping. It was walking out of a worship service because the words of a hymn felt impossible to sing. It was grief — real, raw, and honest.

But surrender has a way of surprising us. ✨

At Mount Moriah, God taught Abraham that trust and provision go hand in hand. 🏔️ The same mountain later witnessed David's judgment and ultimately stood near the hill where Christ gave everything. Moriah — "God is my teacher" — is where we learn that He is enough. 🕊️

Whatever your Mount Moriah looks like today — your career, your plans, your security, your reputation — He is asking you to lay it down. 🤲 Not because He wants to take from you, but because He wants to be your all.

"Entrust all that you have to Him, as you lay it down at Mount Moriah." 🙏
