Sri Mariamman Temple Thombi was re-built in 1987. It was design by Ramakrishna Pillai. Each and everyone from the estate had contributed financially and physically for the re-built.

The 1st Kumbabishekam is done in September 1987. The god statues and related things for the Kumbabishekam was bought in KL by Ramakrishna Pillai, Kumaran and Chella Kannu. The temple Thalaivar was Kumaran.

The Kumbabishekam prayers were done by Citambaram Gurukal and Singam Pusari in September 1987.
Next, the Thiruvilla prayers were done by Ramani Gurukal and Singam Pusari in November 1988.
