Nilai Gospel Chapel ENG We are Christians united by faith in Jesus Christ as our Saviour, saved from sin & granted eternal life. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.

We obey His commands including baptism, walk in newness of life, & share the gospel. We are an independent church led by Elders & guided by Scripture. We are known as Christians with no distinctive title; we are a company of people of different races, having a common faith in Jesus Christ (God's Son) as our Saviour who saved us from our sins and gave us eternal life; to obey His commands by being

baptised (immersion); walk in newness of life and obey Him as Lord by building up His people and telling the glorious gospel to everyone. For it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16)

As an independent church having no earthly headquarters or being controlled by any outside body, we are subject to the Bible teachings and the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our meetings. At the same time, we share a deep affinity with true Christians everywhere. A self-governing body—we are governed by local elders responsible for the conduct and growth of the assembly. We have no clergymen, but our preachers and teachers are experienced men with God-given abilities from various walks of life. Whether you’ve been walking with Christ for years or are simply curious about who Jesus is, you are welcome here. We are an independent church led by a team of Elders and guided by the truth of Scripture. Come as you are—we’d love to walk alongside you in your journey of faith.

The hidden cost of irregular nurture

🔹 1 Cor 3:1-2 – "I had to feed you with milk, not solid food, because you weren't ready."

🔹 Heb 5:13-14 – Those who live on milk are still infants, unskilled in righteousness.

🥛 May 10 – Nurturing

Why we must crave the pure milk of the Word

🔹 1 Peter 2:2 – "Crave pure spiritual milk so you can grow into salvation."

🔹 Heb 5:12 – By now you should be teachers, but you need someone to teach you again.

📖 May 17 – Developing

Meditation, heedfulness, and persevering faith

🔹 1 Tim 4:15-16 – "Meditate on these things… persevere in them, for you will save both yourself and your hearers."

🔹 Psalm 1:2 – Their delight is in the Lord's law, and they meditate on it day and night.

🔹 Heb 11:23-29 – By faith Moses… chose to suffer with God's people… he persevered as seeing Him who is invisible.

Christ is risen! Okay, but 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲?

Among the many ways people reacted to Jesus’ death and resurrection, one was doubt, like we see so often today. “Doubting Thomas” initially questioned whether Jesus had truly risen from the dead. He was convinced only when he felt the wounds where Jesus had been pierced. “My Lord and my God,” he proclaimed, and believed.

We can’t physically touch Jesus’ nail-pierced hands today. But let’s continue to put our faith in the testimony of God’s Word and Spirit (Ps. 19:7; John 15:26) and believe in Christ’s redemptive death and resurrection until He returns. 🕊️
