Today we celebrate the great mystery of the Holy Trinity: one God in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This feast is not about solving a puzzle, but about entering into relationship with the God who is love.
In todayβs Gospel, Jesus reveals the heart of this mystery: βFor God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish but may have eternal life.β
A simple story helps us glimpse this truth. A young boy once asked his father for a kite. Instead of buying one, the father helped him build it and then took him to the park. As the boy ran, the father held the spool and guided the string, while the wind lifted the kite higher and higher.
The boy laughed with joy, unaware that three things were working together: the fatherβs gift, the boyβs trust and effort, and the power of the wind. Without any one of them, the kite would never have flown.
In the same way, the Trinity works in harmony: the Father gives, the Son leads us in trust and obedience, and the Holy Spirit empowers us. Together, they draw us into the fullness of life.
Our reflection today rests on three words: Love, Faith, and Life. Everything begins with love.
The Father loved the world so much that He gave His Son. The Son freely offered Himself out of love, and the Holy Spirit continues to pour that love into our hearts. Godβs love is practical, generous, and life-changing.
It forgives, heals, and restores. On this Trinity Sunday, we are reminded that love is at the very heart of Godβs nature, and we are called to reflect that love in our families, workplaces, and communities. Just as the father gave his son the gift of the kite, God gives us everything we need to live and grow in His love.
Faith is our response to Godβs love. It is more than knowing about Him; it is trusting Him with our lives. Faith means believing that the Fatherβs plan is good, that the Sonβs sacrifice saves us, and that the Spirit guides us.
In a world filled with uncertainty, faith anchors us in Godβs promises. Like the boy who trusted his father to hold the spool, we are called to trust God even when we cannot see the whole path ahead.
The promise of the Gospel is eternal life, not only after death, but beginning now. Eternal life is living in communion with God every day. When we live in Godβs love and respond with faith, the Spirit fills our lives with purpose, joy, and hope.
We taste this life whenever we forgive, serve others, pray, and choose what is good. Like the kite lifted by the wind, our lives are lifted by the Spirit toward the fullness of Godβs plan.
More than trying to crack our heard to understand, it is more important to reflect on how can we live the mystery of the Trinity?
Love generously by showing patience, kindness, and compassion to those around you.
Believe deeply by trusting God in your decisions, your struggles, and your future.
Live fully by choosing hope over despair, gratitude over complaint, and faithfulness over fear.
When we embrace love, faith, and life, our lives become a reflection of the God we worship, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who is love, who calls us to faith, and who gives us life.
