Cornerstone Miri is one of the many church plants of Cornerstone Community Church, Singapore. Our senior pastors, Rev Yang Tuck Yoong and his wife, Ps Daphne Yang, founded Cornerstone Singapore in 1995. Ps Sabrina Low is the lead pastor of Cornerstone Miri, along with her co-lead pastor, Ps Rachel Kedung Bulan. Cornerstone Miri was birthed on the 2nd August 2014 with eight initial members and by the supernatural grace of God. Today, we have more than 300 members over the three services every weekend. We believe in being a conduit of God's presence, preaching the unadulterated Word of God in power and to be activated to take possession of our spiritual inheritances. Our vision statement: We are a multi-generational church who is passionate for the Lord and authentic in discipleship. WEEKEND SERVICE • BATTLE READY

Every believer is in a spiritual battle, but not every believer is battle ready. Ephesians 6:10–18 does not begin with “fight harder.” It begins with “be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.” Our readiness does not come from human strength or spiritual bravado. It comes from being deeply rooted in Christ, recognizing what we are fighting, and learning how to stand. The armour of God is not a costume we put on when trouble arrives. It is a way of life. We must be battle ready.

WEEKEND SERVICE • PURIFIED FOR HIS PROMISE [PART 2 OF 2]

As we come to the end of the Hebrew year 5786 and enter into 5787 which has to do with fulfilled covenant, it is clear that the Lord desires to deal with the soul of man, to purify and sanctify us as preparation to enter into the completion of covenant. The half time whistle has been blown and there is still time to get back on our feet again. To enter into our destiny, we need to let go of our past, guilt, regret, shame and fears. We are not to settle for second best. We must retrieve the fullness of His promises for us. It is not over until it’s over!

Sometimes we get so caught up in doing for God that we forget to simply be with Him. We measure our faith by how much we do, instead of remembering who we’re doing it with.

Let us remember that we don’t have to perform for His love or prove that we’re enough. Hear His gentle invitation to come as you are, rest in His presence, and let everything flow from abiding in the One who loves us beyond measure.

WEEKEND SERVICE • THE BREAKER’S ANOINTING

Whenever we press into the promises of God, we will inevitably encounter resistance. The enemy will seek to obstruct, delay, and discourage us from stepping into what God has already spoken. But resistance does not mean God has changed His mind. It often means we are pressing against something that must be broken through. The Bible declares in Micah 2:13, “The breaker goes up before them”. God Himself is the Breaker and the Breaker’s anointing is His power at work in and through us to break barriers, shatter limitations, overcome opposition, and make a way where there seems to be none. This is an anointing we must contend for. We cannot passively wait for breakthrough when God has called us to press in, persevere, and partner with Him in seeing His purposes fulfilled.
