Mark's Church, Butterworth, it was dedicated on March 21, 1960, by the Bishop of Singapore and Malaya.

First Advent

Bishop Charles Samuel, the Chair of the Diocesan Liturgical Commission, visited our church, preached the Word of God, and celebrated the Holy Communion. He also taught on the meaning of the Advent season and shared insights on the four Advent candles and their themes. The first Advent candle — the Candle of Hope — was lit by the People's Warden, Mr. Daniel Charles Abishegam, and his wife, Mrs. Annamal.
