First Holy Communion 2026

Today, our Sacred Heart Church Parish joyfully celebrated the Sacrament of First Holy Communion, a beautiful milestone in the faith journey of our young brothers and sisters as they received the Body of Christ for the very first time.

A total of 308 children from Sacred Heart Church, St. Mark Church, and the chapel communities within our parish received the sacrament:

St. Mark Church – 101 candidates
Sacred Heart Church – 126 candidates
Kampung Bumbok – 27 candidates
Kampung Tematu – 11 candidates
Kampung Sungai Empit – 11 candidates
Kampung Semeba – 9 candidates
Kampung Sudat – 8 candidates
Kampung Sampun – 8 candidates
Special Class– 7 candidates

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the children and sincere appreciation to their parents, catechists, clergy, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to preparing them for this sacred occasion.

May the Eucharist continue to strengthen their faith, guide their lives, and draw them ever closer to Christ.

Kindly return your completed Walkathon Cards after each Mass, beginning with the Saturday Sunset Mass.

Our organising team will be stationed at the church foyer to receive the collected cards and assist with any enquiries.
