In the Name of Jesus》:

‘In Jesus’ name’ is not merely a phrase to conclude a prayer, nor is it a ‘booster’ for prayer. Jesus reminds us that when we gather, pray and face issues within the church, what matters most is not the number of people, the formality or how we feel, but whether we are truly centred on Jesus. ❤️✝️

To gather “in His name” means laying down our pride, stubbornness, and personal agendas before God. Truly gathering in Jesus’ name means making Him the center of the community and learning to treat one another, address wrongs, and pursue unity according to His will. 🌿🤝

May every time we say “in the name of Jesus” remind us that Jesus is among us. He is holy, righteous, and sovereign. Therefore, we do not gather casually, but with reverence, humility, and obedience as we respond to Him together. 🏡✨

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

We cannot fully control our “destiny.” Life is filled with uncertainties, and many things do not happen according to our plans. Yet the scripture reminds us that although we cannot control every circumstance, we can choose how we live our lives. 🌿✨

Jesus said, “Whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.” This is not a call to abandon our responsibilities or ambitions, but a reminder that if we spend our lives only protecting ourselves, pursuing achievements, and gaining more, we may lose what life is truly about. The Gospel helps us rediscover the source, purpose, and hope of life. ❤️✝️

The real question is not ‘Can I control my own life?’, but ‘In a life beyond my control, what sort of life do I choose to live?’ May we no longer merely seek to possess more, but rather allow our lives to bear fruit of eternal value, bringing the hope and love found in Christ to those around us—in our families, workplaces, communities and relationships. 🌱🤝

“For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.”

《来跟随耶稣 Come and Follow Jesus》:曹玉玲姐妹

Jesus came to the Sea of Galilee and called Peter, Andrew, James, and John in the midst of their ordinary lives: “Come, follow me.” They had their own work, families, and responsibilities, yet when Jesus called, they responded. Today, Jesus continues to call us in the midst of our everyday lives. Following Him does not necessarily begin with something extraordinary, but with small acts of obedience each day. ❤️👣

We often tell ourselves, “When I have more time, I’ll draw closer to God,” or “When I’m ready, I’ll serve,” or “I’ll seriously follow Him someday.” But the disciples remind us of one important word: “immediately.” Following Jesus is not simply hearing His Word or feeling moved in our hearts; it means turning what we have heard into action. It means choosing honesty when no one is watching, trusting God in difficulties, and taking a step when He prompts us to care for someone. 🌱🙏

May our “I am willing” never remain merely in our prayers or words, but become a real response expressed through action and commitment. Today, when Jesus says, “Come, follow me,” may we stop putting it off. Instead, may we learn to follow and obey Him step by step—in our families, churches, workplaces, and relationships—allowing Christ to be Lord over every area of our lives. 🏡❤️

“Come, follow me, and I will send you out to fish for people.”

Youth Sunday

This year, our young people came together to respond to Youth Sunday in a different way. From almost the entire youth group stepping forward to serve in different areas of the worship service, to presenting an original skit, their willingness and dedication to their faith were clearly reflected.

We are truly proud of our young people, especially those who stepped into different roles for the very first time, while many others quietly prepared and rehearsed behind the scenes. Your time, effort, and heart have been a blessing to our church! 🙌❤️

Through the skit, we were also reminded of the very real struggles young people face today as they navigate the tension between life and faith. These struggles are not meant to be carried alone. Our church values these challenges and desires to learn how to walk alongside our young people as they continue on this journey of faith. 🤝✨

Youth Sunday Sermon Recap ✨

Young people today face questions about identity, studies, careers, loneliness, comparison, and faith. Deep down, many are asking, “Who am I?” and “Do I really have a place here?” Yet Ephesians reminds us that in Christ, we are no longer strangers and outsiders, but members of God's household. Our value is not determined by our performance, achievements, or how much we serve, but by the fact that we already belong to Christ. ❤️🏡

Sometimes, the church can also become a place where people are hurt. Young people may feel unheard, misunderstood, dismissed, or treated merely as “resources” for ministry. We must acknowledge that the church is made up of imperfect people, and therefore the church may disappoint us—but the failures of the church do not mean that Christ has abandoned us. May disappointment with the church never become disappointment with Jesus. And may adults honestly reflect on what kind of church we are inviting the next generation into. 🌿🤝

Young people, you are not merely the future of the church—you are the church today. Paul told Timothy not to let anyone look down on him because of his youth. God's calling does not have to wait until we are older or more mature. You can serve, grow, lead by example, and use the gifts God has given you today. The church is not simply called to use young people, but to nurture, trust, listen to, and send them out. 🙌✨

You belong to Christ. You belong to His family. And today, you have a place in His mission. ❤️

Ephesians 2:19
“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God's people and also members of his household.”

Sunday Sermon Recap ✨
What Are You Doing Here?》:吴敬贤传道

We often assume that the more miracles and supernatural experiences we encounter, the stronger our faith will become. Yet after experiencing a remarkable miracle, Elijah still found himself afraid, running away, and even asking God to take his life. At that moment, God asked him a simple question: “What are you doing here?” This reminds us that the foundation of our faith is not how many miracles we have experienced, but whether we truly know and follow God. 🌿🙏

When our faith is challenged, we can easily respond like Elijah—defending ourselves by saying, “I have already given so much,” “No one understands what I am going through,” or “Others are no better than me.” We may even place the blame on God. Yet God did not answer Elijah with another spectacular miracle. After the wind, earthquake, and fire came a “gentle whisper.” God was teaching Elijah that supernatural signs are not the standard by which we define Him; it is truth that leads us into the presence of the living God. 🕊️✨

Faith is not simply about pursuing miracles, healing, breakthroughs, or revival. More importantly, are we willing to become still and hear God's voice—a voice of hope, comfort, assurance, peace, and love? Sometimes God is not found in the spectacular wind, earthquake, or fire, but in a simple yet truthful word. May we stop chasing the appearance of faith and instead learn to listen to God in the quietness, allowing His Word to strengthen our lives once again. ❤️🏡

“I have been very zealous for the LORD God Almighty.”

Holy Communion Service Sermon Recap ✨

The church is not made up of people who are all the same. God brings together people of different ages, backgrounds, and gifts to form one body in Christ. Paul reminds us that every member has a unique purpose, and no one is unnecessary. Whether children, youth, adults, or seniors, everyone has a valuable place in God's family. ❤️🏡

We often think that only those serving on the platform or in significant ministries are making a difference. Yet God values not merely our abilities, but our willingness to respond. A smile, a word of encouragement, an attentive response, or faithful participation can all strengthen the church and become an act of worship. Our true purpose is not to showcase ourselves, but to build one another up as God's family. 🤝✨

Since we are one body in Christ, we are called to preserve unity and commit ourselves to one another. The church is not a place we simply attend, but a spiritual family where we grow, care for one another, and build together. May we not only participate in church life, but also become active builders of Christ's body, allowing His church to flourish through the response of every member. 🌿🙌

Romans 12:4–5
"For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."

Sunday Sermon Recap ✨
《话语的能力 The Power of Words》:卓培清姐妹

God has given us words not merely as a means of communication, but as a powerful influence on life. James reminds us that although the tongue is small, it has tremendous power. A single word can either build someone up or tear them down. Therefore, we should guard our speech and use our words to become a blessing to others. 🗣️❤️

Scripture also teaches that words are like seeds. Every word we speak today will eventually bear fruit. Rather than speaking criticism, curses, or words that tear others down, we are called to encourage, comfort, affirm, and build one another up. Our mouths should overflow with praise and grace, not bitterness and destruction. 🌱🤝

Ultimately, the most powerful words are not our own, but God's Word. May we allow His Word to fill our hearts, proclaim His promises boldly, and speak words that are positive, life-giving, and full of hope, so that both we and those around us may experience healing, renewal, and strength through Him. 🏡✨

James 3:5
"Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts."
