The Tamil Apostolate of SFA organised a two day Life in the Spirit Seminar (LSS) on the 6th and 7th of June 2026.

Rev.Fr. Cyril Mannayagam, a well known Priest from the Melaka -Johor Diocese was invited to conduct the sessions. About 80 participants attended the programme.

The LSS began with praise and worship led by the Tamil Charismatic Team.
Fr. Cyril throughout the two day period shared his knowledge and wisdom by presenting various topics on God’s love, New life, Transformation in the Spirit etc. Several group discussions were carried out.

The event reached a powerful crescendo when the Holy Spirit was invoked and each participant had an ‘up close and personal’ experience with the Blessed Sacrament. Many were overwhelmed and moved to tears.

The day ended with the participants sharing their testimonials and thanking Fr. Cyril for a truly uplifting experience.

𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨

Blessed John Pelingotto was a lay Franciscan known for his simple life of prayer, humility, and service to the poor in medieval Italy.

Born into a wealthy merchant family, John cared little for business, wealth, or worldly success. Drawn instead to a deeper spiritual life, he joined the Third Order of St. Francis, embracing the Franciscan way of life while remaining a layman. He devoted himself wholeheartedly to prayer, penance, and works of charity, striving to live the Gospel faithfully in everyday life.

Following his death, devotion to him spread among the faithful, and his holiness was officially recognised by the Church. He was beatified by Pope Benedict XV in 1918.

Blessed John Pelingotto’s life continues to inspire lay Christians to pursue holiness through simplicity, humility, and loving service.

The Archdiocesan Creation Justice Ministry in collaboration with Pertubuhan MyKita Hulu Selangor, invited you to a special outing in nature. Enjoy the refreshing waterfalls, connect with friends, and embrace adventure amidst the beauty of creation.

Join us in fostering friendship and joy, especially among the boys staying in the hostel from lower-income families. Let's celebrate friendship and adventure as we care for our planet and each other.
