~ Sunday Sermon Recap ~

1. Understanding the Church
How do you view the church? How would you define it? What do you think are the essential characteristics of the church and its primary ministries?

2. Participation in Gospel Ministry
Share how you have been involved in gospel ministry within your local church. As a partner in the gospel, what obstacles, challenges, rejection, or even persecution have you faced? Share and pray together.

3. Growing in Love with Knowledge and Discernment
The church is called to grow in spiritual maturity—abounding in love with knowledge and discernment, and approving what truly matters. Compare this with your church and her members: how is this quality of love and growth being expressed? What areas need further pursuit and change?

~ Sunday Sermon Recap ~

KNOW: We are strengthened by God’s grace in Jesus Christ to faithfully teach and transmit the Word of God as one approved by God.

BE: Like soldiers, athletes and farmers who work in a way approved by God rightly discerning the truth of God’s Word.

DO: Draw strength from Jesus in prayer and engagement with the Word of God, be careful with what we say, work hard in the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Further Reflections:

1. Which image—soldier, athlete, or farmer—do I relate to most right now, and why?

2. What is one area where I need God’s grace to strengthen me?

3. How can my words—online or offline—better reflect Christ this week?

4. Prepare a prayer and lead that prayer for yourself or one another, taking into account what you’ve learned from this passage.

~ Sunday Sermon Recap ~

1. Do you really believe the story of Jesus? Do you really believe that Jesus gave His life and rose from the dead so that you could be forgiven of your sins and be made new? Has there been an occasion in your life where you have had doubts if this story of Jesus was really true? Share. What difference has He made in your life since?

2. Share a witnessing experience you have had. Did you feel the Holy Spirit’s presence in that encounter? Why is it so important to rely on the Holy Spirit in your witnessing? How can you cooperate with the Holy Spirit in your witnessing?

3. Try to recall the first time you heard the gospel. Who told you? How did they tell you? Did they first share Christ with you through their words or did you first notice Christ working in them through their actions? What can you learn from the way they have shared the gospel with you? Which approach is more effective for you? Why?

4. Do you really believe in the mission of Jesus? Do you really believe that He has called you to be His witness regardless of your location in life? What next steps can you take to begin doing something about it?

Before the world woke up, the greatest miracle in history had already begun…
Join us early tomorrow morning as the sun rises to celebrate the Light of Life that no darkness could overcome. There is something truly special about praising Him in the quiet of the early morning air.

"Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb." (Jhn 20:1)

Let’s witness the dawn of hope together at the Easter Sunrise Service. See you at 6.30am tomorrow in the MBS field! This will be followed by the Combined Easter Service at 9am in the Main Hall, WLC.

"When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, 'It is finished,' and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit." (Jhn 19:30)

Tonight, we gather for the Maundy Thursday service at 8pm in the Sanctuary to remember the night Jesus shared the bread and cup, and washed His disciples' feet. Let us reflect on His call to serve and love one another deeply.

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another." (Jhn 13:34)
