母亲节起源于一位美国女儿对母亲深深的思念与感恩。
1908年，安娜·贾维斯（Anna Jarvis）为了纪念她已故的母亲，发起了母亲节聚会，盼望人们能够重新珍惜母亲无私的爱与付出。后来，美国正式将每年五月第二个星期日定为母亲节。
今天，母亲节不只是送花与礼物，
更是一个提醒：
谢谢那些默默守护家庭的人，
谢谢那些流泪祷告、耐心陪伴、不断付出的母亲。
愿我们不只今天表达爱，
更在平凡日子里，学会珍惜、尊荣与陪伴。

透过圣经中两个女性，母亲的探索（哈拿与友尼基），看在信仰中两个截然不同的生命境遇，一个平凡不过，一个却心灵破碎，但两者都被上帝顾念。同时与现代女性的对话中去更多理解他们的不容易。同时也鼓励作为信仰群体要成为承载生命重量的空间。

祝愿，母亲节安康，上主常顾念。

Mother’s Day began from a daughter’s deep love and remembrance for her mother.

In 1908, Anna Jarvis started a Mother’s Day gathering in memory of her late mother, hoping people would once again cherish the selfless love and sacrifices of mothers. Later, the United States officially designated the second Sunday of May as Mother’s Day.

Today, Mother’s Day is more than flowers and gifts.
It is a reminder:

To thank those who quietly hold families together,
To honor mothers who pray through tears, patiently accompany, and continually give of themselves.

May we not only express love today,
but also learn to cherish, honor, and accompany one another in the ordinary days of life.

Through the stories of two women in the Bible — Hannah and Eunice — we explored two very different journeys of motherhood and faith. One appeared ordinary, while the other carried deep inner brokenness, yet both were seen and remembered by God.

As we reflect alongside the realities faced by modern women today, may we grow in understanding of their struggles and burdens. And may the church become a faith community that carries the weight of one another’s lives with grace, compassion, and love.

May the Lord continually remember and sustain you.
