Lesson recap from Sunday’s message on the cross shaped community.

The cross is not just a symbol we wear. It is the shape of our entire lives. In Christ, we are brought to fullness. He cancelled our debt, conquered our enemies, and calls us to be rooted in Him alone. The cross shows us a God humble enough to suffer and strong enough to triumph.

Scripture focus: Colossians 2:14-15 — He cancelled the charge of our debt, nailing it to the cross. He disarmed the powers and authorities, triumphing over them by the cross.

Reflect today: Is your life being shaped by the cross or by the world?

Priceless Presence

Today we hear from Aunty Lin and Ricky about what having God in their lives means to them 🙌

Though God cannot be physically seen, His presence is evident in their everyday lives — through both the good times and the difficult moments.

Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, God’s presence now lives within us. And when we gather together, God is with us.

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
— Matthew 18:20 (NIV)

Jesus died because we are worth it in His eyes 🥹 In return, do we truly appreciate and give thanks for the intimacy of His presence? 🙏

Let us continue to seek God daily, for He is never far away. 🌿 He sees our brokenness, fears, victories, and desires to be our loving Father every single day.

Faithful Stewardship

We are all stewards — entrusted to rebuild, restore, and guard what belongs to God.

But like the Israelites in Ezra, stewardship isn’t easy:
👉 Troubles will come — opposition, fear, and discouragement
👉 But God refines us through it — not to break us, but to shape us (Isa 48:10)

✨ God doesn’t leave His stewards helpless.
He speaks, guides, and sustains — calling us back when our focus shifts.

So stay faithful. Keep building.
Because when we honour our calling, God is at work behind the scenes.

Still in awe of what God has done at our Praise & Worship Night — “The Great I AM” ✨🙌

From sharing moments, heartfelt worship, to simply being in community (plus all the amazing potluck food 🍽), it was truly a night filled with His presence and peace.

Nehemiah 8:10 - Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Reminds us that true strength comes from the deep joy found in God's presence. This joy is deeper than happiness. It is rooted in God's character and his unwavering faithfulness. When we lean on him, we find the strength to keep going, no matter what we may be up against.
