It started with a mirror. It ended with Ecclesiastes.

Somewhere in between, the tie was straightened and the confidence arrived uninvited.

Solomon called it vanity. I call it a Thursday. Vanity of vanities…but first, let me get the angle right 😂

So I got the blue badge. Just wanted verification.

But when Facebook tried to pronounce the name Jesus Christ, it came back with “Hah-lel Morningstar.”

Hallel is Hebrew for praise. It is the root of Hallelujah. Jesus and the disciples sang the Hallel Psalms the night before the cross in Matthew 26:30.

Morningstar is what Jesus calls Himself in Revelation 22:16. “I am the bright morning star.”

Then Facebook listed me as a public figure. Understatement of eternity.

And the account says Created: February 2025. But Hebrews 13:8 says He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

The algorithm had to try. No human mouth can fully carry what that name holds.

He put His name on it anyway. What does the name of Jesus mean to you personally?

Have you ever seen the entire Bible mapped out in one page?

Creation. The Fall into sin. Abraham. Moses. David. The birth, death and resurrection of Jesus. The church today. And one day, God coming home to a new heaven and a new earth.

This is the drama of the Bible. Six acts. One God. One unfolding plan of love, grace and redemption.

And the most beautiful part? You are in it. Right now. In this moment.

You were made for this story. Come back to Jesus. 🙏✝️

Have faith and truth. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will make your ways straight.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. — John 1:1 ESV

I wanted to give up…

For months I was going through the verification process. KYC, identity checks, back and forth. There were moments I doubted whether it would ever happen.

But the moment I stopped holding on and surrendered it completely, everything changed.

That’s His way. He doesn’t move on our timeline. He moves when we finally let go and trust Him fully.

Whatever you’re going through right now, don’t give up. Surrender it. He’s got it. ✝️

Have faith and truth. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will make your ways straight.

Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. — Isaiah 43:19 ESV

Here’s something that’s been on my heart from John 8:31–36 (ESV)

Jesus was talking to people who believed in Him, yet He still challenged them:

“If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples.”

Not just followers.
Disciples.
There’s a difference.

And then He drops it: everyone who keeps sinning is a slave to sin. Not struggling; a slave. That’s strong language from a loving Saviour.

But the rescue is just as strong: “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

Today’s question for all of us. Are we abiding in His Word, or just visiting it occasionally? Real freedom comes from staying close to Jesus, not just knowing about Him.

Share this if someone in your life needs to hear it today. ✝️🙏

John 8:21–30 (ESV)
“Unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins.” — John 8:24

Jesus speaks with urgency not to condemn, but to reveal what truly matters.

They questioned Him.
They misunderstood Him.
They could not see beyond what was in front of them.

But Jesus pointed higher.

“Who are you?” they asked.
And still today, the question remains.

Not just asked with words but answered with our lives.

And in the midst of it all: “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he.” — John 8:28

Even before the cross, truth was already standing before them.

“And many believed in him.” — John 8:30

Belief is not forced.
It is revealed to the willing heart.

You think it’s a glow up.
It’s actually healing.

There was a man who started smiling more,
not because life suddenly became perfect…
but because he stopped carrying what was breaking him.

He learned to walk away without explaining.
To choose peace without guilt.
To pray instead of panic.

People said, “You’ve changed.”
They were right.

He wasn’t chasing anymore.
He wasn’t forcing anything anymore.

And slowly, life began to meet him
at the level he finally chose for himself.

Now they see the smile.
They call it luck. They call it timing.

But they didn’t see the nights he rebuilt himself
in silence.

And that’s the part they’ll never understand…

Not everything that left him was a loss.
Some of it was God making space
for the life he’s living now. 🕊️

You didn’t miss your chance.

You’re just telling yourself that because it’s easier than trusting God’s timing.

I know you feel late.
I know it looked perfect.
I know it hurts watching it pass.

But hear this: What is truly yours cannot pass you.

God doesn’t place something in front of you just to take it away because you weren’t fast enough.

What passed you was never yours to carry. It only looked right.

But it would’ve led you wrong.
Not every open door is alignment.

Some are distractions that pull you out of it.

The one meant for you?

You won’t have to chase it in fear.
You won’t have to force it in panic.

It will meet you when you’re ready to receive it.

So stop calling it a loss.
God calls it redirection.
You’re not behind.
You’re right on time.
