JBC USA is being registered as Judson Education Center Incorporated, a non-profit organization in the State of Maryland USA. JBC has been set up to de
velop ministerial training for church planting and leadership development. Judson Bible College and Seminary is named after Adoniram Judson, the first American missionary to Burma, who translated the Holy Bible into Burmese and composed an English-Burmese Dictionary for the people of Myanmar (Burma). On 14 July 2019, after some discussion with JBC’s Founders and the Board of Directors, its representative, Dr Thuam Cin Khai (Founder and President) authorized the formation of Judson Bible College Malaysia to carry on the same spirit and vision of JBC USA. The founders of JBCKL are Pastor Michael Moey and Mung Khat. JBCM is run by a Board of refugee and local evangelical Christians. JBCM welcomes students from various denominations who desire to be trained in the areas of biblical knowledge, theological insights, multidisciplinary studies, spiritual growth, and ministerial education for ministries to serve their own people and others wherever they are located. JBCM is affiliated to ACCESS, DAI, and Teaching the Word Ministries. The courses taught at JBCM are accepted by Lancaster Bible College. JBCM students who complete the 2-year Diploma courses successfully are eligible to transfer their credit hours to Lancaster Bible College and JBCM Bachelor program as third-year Bachelors students. Those who have a Bachelor’s degree can apply to do a Master’s program with JBCM. Is JBC Malaysia regionally and nationally accredited? JBCM is a partner of Judson Bible College USA which is a member of Association for Christian Distance Education (ACCESS), Development Associates International, Evangelical Training Association and Increase Association. JBC USA is a recognised college of transferable credits from JBC to Lancaster Bible College, which is accredited by Middle States Commission on Higher Education and Association for Biblical Higher Education USA.
