What a beautiful weekend at SCAN ✨

From morning till night, over 200 of us came together to grow in faith, vocation, and relationships.

Ending the day with Mass for the Good Shepherd Feast made it even more special, our church celebrating as one.

Sometimes life gets so busy that our relationship with God slowly moves to the background.

Throwback to our Youth Day (Pesta Kami) session last Sunday! 🫶🏼

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, to our guest speaker Josephine for her inspiring sharing and to Father Mitchel for leading us into the evening with prayer and guidance.

We were also blessed by Marianna’s testimony as one of the participants:

‌”Personally for me, it was a beautiful experience as I could relate with all that the speaker was sharing to us.

I was mostly touched by the sharing session, we all had to give in groups based on the questions assigned to us. During the discussion and sharing session, I realized that although all of us youths struggle with many different problems in life, we end up seeking for the comfort of God.

I learned that surrendering everything to him and puting our trust in God is the best thing we could do in times of trouble.

Other than that, the games sessions were fun and knowledgeable as well. I got to learn more about the bible while spending a good time with all my friends. It was definitely an amazing experience.

Lastly, the praise and worship session was beautiful as everyone sang with full spirit and truly praised the Lord.”

Thank you once again to everyone who made this session meaningful. May we continue growing together in faith, friendship and joy. ❤️✝️

Here’s a recap post of Youth Camp 2025! 🫶🏼

Such a memorable weekend filled with fun, friendships and moments that really moved us. Our theme from John 8:11 reminded us that God’s mercy lets us begin again, no matter where we’ve been.

Visiting St. Peter’s was definitely a highlight. The priest talked about the Rosary in a way that hit home.. how we sometimes just say the words without being present.
He encouraged us to pray with intention, not just out of routine. Even the Mass taught us so much about slowing down and giving God our full attention.

So grateful for this experience and everything we learned. Can’t wait for the next one! 🙌🏼💗✨

As we enter this beautiful season of hope and joy, our Youth Ministry is grateful for the love, support and warmth you have shown throughout the year. Last Christmas, visiting your homes and singing together reminded us how precious it is to share Christ’s love as one family. Your smiles, hospitality and heartfelt moments stayed with us. ❤️

This year, we look forward to bringing that same Christmas spirit to your homes once again. With simple carols, sincere prayers and joyful hearts, the GSC Youths hope to brighten your evening and share the peace of Christ’s birth with you and your family.
