In the Old Testament, the priests never sat down because their work was never done. Day after day, sacrifice after sacrifice.

Then came Jesus.

He offered one sacrifice, for all people, for all time. And then? He sat down.

When we live in a constant state of "doing more" to be "good enough," we’re acting like Jesus is still standing. But the Gospel says the chair is occupied and the debt is paid.

We stepped out of the comfort of our usual setup last Sunday and experienced table fellowship in a new setting at our very first ever Chroma Café! ☕️

Brunch, coffee, and a deep dive into Hebrews made for the perfect morning of fellowship. It was a joy seeing so many new and old friends! 🎉

We hold the conviction that asking difficult questions is an act of faith, not a lack of it. We don't just tolerate hard conversations—we embrace them. By bringing our doubts into the light, we expose our blind spots, challenge old assumptions, and step out of the comfort zone of easy answers.

True spiritual maturity requires a faith that can withstand testing. As we move beyond the superficial, we develop the perseverance and deep-rooted resolve that make our faith truly our own.

Why "Good Enough" isn't enough.

Hebrews was written to people who were tempted to go back to what was comfortable. They wanted the old systems, the old rules and the old safety nets. But the author of Hebrews has one consistent message — Jesus is Better.

Better than the angels who serve Him. Better than the leaders who preceded Him. Better than the sacrifices that could never truly wash us clean.

When you’re tempted to look back at your "old life" or rely on your own strength, remember this: You aren’t just following a religion; you’re following the One who holds it all together (Hebrews 1:3).
