About the Parish

We are a Latin rite Catholic parish catering to both English and Mandarin speaking communities in the vicinity of Kepong, Selayang, and Segambut areas of North Kuala Lumpur. Paul the model for missionaries, Fr. Pierre Decroocq, MEP, went about founding Mass centres and entrusting each to traine

d lay leaders. His outreach covered a big area that stretched from Kepong Lama to Kepong Garden and even extended to Jalan Damansara. The earliest building to be used exclusively for Masses in the Kepong area in 1969 was corner shop lot. Subsequently, a multi-purpose community centre was set up, which housed classes for tuition, tailoring and a nursery. This Mass cm community centre was used for five years until a piece of land in a strategic prime location was donated to Fr. Decroocq by a Chinese developer. A two-storied church was built on this donated piece of land and was finally dedicated under the titular of JESUS CARITAS by the late Archbishop Dominic Vendargon in April 1975. The new church building also housed a kindergarten which had an initial enrollment of over 600 students. After having raised sufficient funds, the community was able to undertake a major renovation of the entire church complex and work was completed in the year 2011. This included a brand new church and an adjacent building known as Wisma Caritas, which housed additional rooms for the kindergarten, Sunday school and meeting facilities. In 2019, additional beautification work on the sanctuary was completed.

We warmly invite all parishioners and friends to come together for the 2026 Jesus Caritas Church Feast Day! Let us gather in prayer and community under this year's beautiful theme: "Peace, Faith over Fear".

The Triduum and Feast Day Masses will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Philip Tay.

Day 1 (Thursday, 4 June 2026):
We will begin at 7:45pm with the Litany of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by a bilingual Mass.

Day 2 (Friday, 5 June 2026):
Join us at 7:45pm for the Litany of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by a bilingual Mass.

Day 3 (Saturday, 6 June 2026):
Our final day starts earlier at 5:45pm with the Litany of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by a bilingual Mass and a procession.
