SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE & MANDARIN DHAMMA TALK BY SIS. NANDINĪ TAN
Sunday, 7 June | 9 am – 12 pm | Nalanda Centre, Sri Serdang

On the final day of this year’s Buddha Day Observance, join us for the Sunday Morning Service on Sunday, 7 June. The service features a Mandarin Dhamma talk by Sis. Nandinī Tan on the Buddha Day theme ‘Leading a Life of Wisdom & Compassion’.

On the same day, do also come to do the wholesome deed of savings lives through blood donation. The Blood Donation Drive will be held from 10am to 4pm. We also welcome you to visit the ‘Terima Kasih, Dhammananda’ Exhibition and Wisdom Park Phase 2 Exhibition which will be open from 10am to 4pm.

BUDDHA DAY OBSERVANCE AT NEO KL – PINDACĀRA & PEACE WALK

We invite you and your loved ones to join Buddha Day Observance programmes hosted by Nalanda K.L. Branch this Saturday, 6 June as follows :

PINDACARA at 8.30 am & 9.30 am | O.U.G and Happy Garden markets
Offer alms to venerable Sangha members at the monthly ‘Pindacāra’ at O.U.G. and Happy Garden. We also invite you to join the offering of lunch dana to venerable monks at NEO Centre in Happy Garden after the alms round. You may bring cooked vegetarian food to offer.

PEACE WALK at 6.00pm | NEO Centre KL in Happy Garden
Join the Buddha Day ‘Peace Walk’ in Happy Garden, featuring a Dhamma talk by Ach. S. Vijaya. The programme commences at 6pm with light refreshments followed by the Dhamma talk at 6.30pm. The serene ‘Peace Walk’ around the housing community will start at 7.30pm.

BUDDHA DAY B.E. 2570 OBSERVANCE IS COMING!
At Nalanda, this is a sacred time for the community to unite in spiritual togetherness. For the past few weeks, many members and volunteers from Kuala Lumpur branch have been working together started planning and preparing for the commemoration.

This year’s theme "Leading a Life of Wisdom & Compassion" calls on us to support one another in our daily practice. By learning, meditating, and serving together, we uplift each other and foster a harmonious community.

SUPPORT THE BUILDING OF WISDOM PARK PHASE 2

Since its opening in 2022, Wisdom Park has become a vibrant centre for Dhamma learning, meditation retreats, youth development, and leadership exchanges. Today, the encouraging response from the Buddhist community has brought the current facilities to full capacity. To date, more than 6,000 participants have benefited from the facilities for training, learning, and cultivation.

Phase 2 of Wisdom Park will significantly increase the campus’ capacity to host up to 300 participants at any one time, while allowing multiple programmes to run concurrently. The expansion includes a 2-storey hostel accommodating 200 people, a multi-purpose hall, dining hall, central kitchen, and a meditation pavilion designed to support retreats, trainings, and community gatherings in a serene and conducive environment.

Wisdom Park is built by the community, for the community — a shared legacy of wisdom, compassion, and service. We invite you participate in building this important facility by sponsoring its construction cost at RM360 per square foot with total 45,000 square feet.

MASS FOOD OFFERING ON BUDDHA DAY
Sunday, 31 May 2026 | 5.30 pm – 6.30 pm | Nalanda Centre, Sri Serdang

In conjunction with Wesak celebrations, a Mass Food Offering will be held on ‘Buddha Day’ Sunday 31 May, at 5.30pm. This annual tradition brings together devotees and the community to cultivate generosity and share blessings. We rejoice in the kind-hearted support of devotees, who make their offerings with joy and sincerity.

We invite you and your family to join us in this wholesome activity on Buddha Day. You may also participate by offering food or making donations, by contacting Sis.
