For forgiveness-
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَاهْدِنِي، وَاجْبُرْنِي، وَعَافِنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي، وَارْفَعْنِي

Transliteration:
Allaahum-maghfir lee, warhamnee, wahdinee, wajburnee, wa 'aafinee, warzuqnee, warfa'nee.

Translation:
O Allah forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, support me, protect me, provide for me and elevate me.

Protection from the wrongdoers-
عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

Transliteration:
'AlAllahi tawakkalna rabbana la taj'alna fitnatal lil-qawmidz-dzhalimeen. Wa najjina bi-rahmatika minal qawmil kafireen.

Translation:
Upon Allah do we rely. Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for the wrongdoing people. And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْماً نَافِعاً، وَرِزْقاً طَيِّباً، وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً

Transliteration:
Allaahumma inni as aluka 'ilman naafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.

Translation:
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is of benefit, a good provision, and deeds that will be accepted.

Transliteration:
Allaahummak-fineehim bimaa shi'ta

For riding any vehicles-
بِسْـمِ اللهِ وَالْحَمْـدُ لله، سُـبْحانَ الّذي سَخَّـرَ لَنا هذا وَما كُنّا لَهُ مُقْـرِنين، وَإِنّا إِلى رَبِّنا لَمُنـقَلِبون،

Transliteration:
Bismillah, Alhamdulillah. Subhanal-ladzi sakhara lana hadza wa ma kunna lahu muqrineen. Wa inna ila Rabbina lamunqolibun.

Translation:
With the name of Allah. Praise is to Allah. Glory is to Him Who has provided this for us though we could never have had it by our efforts. Surely, unto our Lord we are returning.

رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ

Transliteration:
Rabbanaf-tah bainana wa baina qawmina bil haqqi wa anta Khayrul Fatiheen.

Translation:
Our Lord! Decide Thou between us and our people in truth, for Thou art the best to decide.

Protection from hell-
رَبَّنا ءاتِنا فِى الدُّنيا حَسَنَةً وَفِى الءاخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنا عَذابَ النّارِ

Transliteration:
Rabbana aatina fiddunya hasanatan wa fil aakhirati hasanatan waqina adzaabannaar.

Translation:
Our Lord! grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter and save us from the torment of the Fire.
