✨ 【Throwback to a Joyful Wesak Celebration】 🪷🌸

As we look back at our recent Wesak Day celebration, our hearts remain filled with immense joy and gratitude. It was a beautiful day seeing our dedicated volunteers, passionate youth, and devout families coming together as one big community, all united in practicing and appreciating the sublime Dharma.

For those who walked down to the basement exhibition, you would have encountered a very special, handmade Bodhi Tree. Crafted with leaves of different colors and shapes, this tree beautifully symbolizes the diverse backgrounds, stories, and unique paths each of us carries. Yet, despite these outward differences, it is still called Bodhi Tree & Bodhi leaves—reminding us that beneath it all, we all share a common nature: the ultimate possibility to awake, just like the Buddha.

This beautiful concept perfectly links with our traditional Buddha Bathing ritual. The water we use symbolizes the Dharma itself. By practicing the Dharma, we can wash away our internal greed, anger, and ignorance, eventually allowing us to awaken. Bathing the Buddha is not just a ritual ceremony, but a profound educational practice to remind us to continually purify our own action, speech, and mind. May the pure water of the Dharma wash away our inner dust, and may the wisdom of the Bodhi leaves inspire us to carry this serene energy forward into our daily lives! 🙏✨

✨ 【感恩回望：菩提树下，以法水清净身口意】 🪷🌸

卫塞节庆典虽已圆满，但那份法喜与感动依旧萦绕在心头。回看当天的点点滴滴，心中充满了无限的感恩。感恩所有无私奉献的义工菩萨、充满活力的青年，以及扶老携幼前来共沾法喜的十方大众。大家在如律如法的氛围中同乐同行，展现了对佛法的无比恭敬与赞叹。

在当天的展览中，当大家步入地下室，映入眼帘的是一棵非常特殊的纯手工打造的菩提树。这棵树上挂满了色彩各异、形状不一的菩提叶，它象征着我们每一个人虽然来自不同的背景、有着不同的人生经历，但它依然被称为菩提树、菩提叶——这寓意着，尽管外相不同，我们众生都拥有着一个共同的本性，那就是如同佛陀一般，皆有觉悟的可能。

这份觉悟的启示，也完美呼应了庄严的浴佛仪式。浴佛所用的清水，正正象征着伟大的佛法。通过将佛法落实于修行中，我们得以洗涤内心的贪、嗔、痴，并最终走向觉悟。因此，浴佛不仅仅是一场仪式，更是一项具有深远教育意义的实践，时刻提醒着我们要清净自己的身口意三业。愿这清净的法水与多彩的菩提树，持续照亮我们前行的修行路！🙏✨

✨ 【Crossing in Bloom: A Heart Sutra Reflection】 🪷🌸

Have you caught a glimpse of our beautiful Wesak Day floral arrangement?
This special display draws from the Heart Sutra and the Prajnaparamita teaching of “going beyond.”
Here is the meaning provided by the creators of this piece:

At the center, a varied arrangement of flowers in different forms, texture and colours represents the busy, confused mind of the sentient world. It is samsara in bloom: beautiful, chaotic, and impermanent.

The curved red cane bridges this center to the other side. Red signifies compassion and awakened energy. The curve is the paramita — the path of wisdom that carries us beyond hindrance to liberation.

Beneath the garden arch, where Buddha’s birth is marked, colors soften. This recalls the “Bathing the Buddha” ritual: as dust is washed away, the mind grows still and clear, ready for insight.

Behind all, Shakyamuni Buddha and his disciples stand as guide and community. The teaching is not held by the flowers alone, but by the lineage and practice that support the crossing.

See the confusion. Cross with wisdom. Rest in calm." 🍃

您是否有注意到今年卫塞节现场那组庄严的插花造景？这件作品灵感源自于《心经》以智慧“度一切苦厄、走向解脱”的开示。以下为您附上创作者对作品的解析：

在中央，由不同形态、质感与色彩交织的插花，象征着众生忙碌、困惑的内心世界。那是婆婆世界的缩影：虽美丽，却也混乱且无常。

那一抹红色的弧形藤条，将中央的繁杂桥接至另一端。红色代表慈悲与觉醒的能量，而那道弧线便是波罗蜜——带我们跨越障碍、驶向解脱的智慧彼岸。

在标注着佛陀诞生的拱门下方，色彩逐渐变得柔和。这呼应了‘浴佛’的仪式：当尘垢被洗净，心便恢复了宁静与清明，随时准备契入智慧。

✨ 【Joint Wesak Celebration Procession at Buddhist Maha Vihara】
What an incredible evening of faith and unity! Devotees and numerous Buddhist organizations gathered at the Buddhist Maha Vihara (BMV) to participate in the annual grand Wesak procession. Many organizations beautifully put together and brought along their own spectacular floats, creating a breathtaking sea of light and devotion. Our very own youth from Sunday school also joined the procession, walking alongside the community with pure hearts and joyful spirits! 🪷🛕

The event was honorably officiated by Minister Anthony Loke, and Venerable Sing Kan was invited to be a part of the esteemed guests for this magnificent procession. It was deeply moving to see the next generation and the community come together to carry forward the light of the Dharma.

这是一个展现信仰与团结的殊胜夜晚！各佛教团体与信众齐聚十五碑锡兰佛寺（Buddhist Maha Vihara），共同参与一年一度的卫塞节盛大花车游行。许多佛教组织也精心制作并带来了各自的花车，现场灯火辉煌，法喜充满。我们周日佛学班的青少年们也一同加入了游行队伍，用纯洁与欢喜的心，与大众一同护持佛法！🪷🛕

THE SILENT HEROES OF THE KITCHEN: THANK YOU TO OUR UNSTOPPABLE VOLUNTEER CATERING CREW
Behind every great milestone is an army of unsung heroes! For the historic inaugural National Wesak Conference 2026 on 23rd May, Sam Poh Thong Buddhist Temple was deeply honored to be chosen as one of the official food and beverage caterers, spreading the joy of the Dharma through nourishing vegetarian meals.

To ensure everything was fresh and ready, our incredible team of volunteers woke up at 2:00 AM in the morning. From the quiet hours of the pre-dawn darkness right up until the event, they lovingly prepped, cooked, and packed delicious meals—serving 500 pax for breakfast and over 1,000 pax for lunch! Every single box was filled not just with wholesome food, but with our volunteers' pure hearts and blessings for all the delegates.

We are infinitely grateful to our dedicated volunteers who selflessly gave their time and energy to make this monumental catering effort a success. Your tireless service truly embodies the spirit of compassionate action!

盛会背后的无名英雄：感谢通宵赶制千人餐点的三宝堂义工团
每一场圆满的盛会背后，都有一群默默付出的无名英雄！在日前落幕的“2026年全国卫塞节研讨会”中，三宝堂极其荣幸能担任大会的官方餐饮香积单位之一，用美味健康的素食与全国大众广结法缘。

为了确保每一份餐点都能新鲜准时送达，我们伟大的义工菩萨们在凌晨 2:00 便早早起床，在香积厨房里展开了马拉松式的准备工作。从切菜、烹煮到打包，大家齐心协力、广结善缘，成功在当天供应了 500人份的早餐 以及 超过1000人份的午餐！这每一份便当里，不仅装满了营养丰富的食物，更承载着义工们对大众的满满祝愿。

三宝堂由衷感恩所有无私奉献的义工菩萨们，因为有你们的护持与不辞劳苦，才让这次庞大的香积任务得以圆满达成。感恩有您，用双手成就了最美的慈悲践行！

On 27 May 2026, Sam Poh Thong Abbess Venerable Sing Kan, together with Venerable Chang Cheng, Venerable Yin Xin and Sramaneri Zhen Kang, attended the 50th Celebration organised by Karma Kagyu Dharma Society Kuala Lumpur (KKDSKL).

The event brought together Theravāda, Mahāyāna, and Vajrayāna monastics from different Buddhist traditions to jointly celebrate KKDSKL’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. The occasion was solemn and joyous, reflecting harmony and exchange among the various Buddhist lineages.

This 50th anniversary celebration, held in conjunction with the upcoming Wesak Day, was especially meaningful for KKDSKL. It also provided a precious opportunity for the public to collectively support Buddhism, exchange Dharma teachings and foster wholesome affinities.

Sam Poh Thong rejoices in and praises this meaningful occasion, and sincerely wishes KKDSKL continued flourishing of the Dharma and success in all its Buddhist activities.

2026年5月27日，三寶堂住持勝勤法師帶領，聯同常澂法師、印心法師及振穅法師，出席由吉隆坡金剛乘卡瑪迦如佛教會（KKDSKL）舉辦之50周年慶祝活動。

此次活動匯聚了南傳、漢傳及藏傳法師，融合不同佛教文化，共同慶祝 KKDSKL 成立50周年，場面莊嚴殊勝，展現了佛教不同傳承之間的和合與交流。

此次50周年慶，適逢即將到來的衛塞節，對 KKDSKL 而言別具意義，也為大眾提供了一個共同護持佛教、交流佛法與廣結善緣的珍貴因緣。

DEEPENING COMPASSION AND WISDOM: SAM POH THONG DEVOTEES IMMERSE IN "SIDDHARTHA THE MUSICAL IN CONCERT" AT KLPAC
On 22nd May, a delegation of devotees from Sam Poh Thong Buddhist Temple, led by the Abbess, Venerable Sing Kan , attended Siddhartha The Musical in Concert at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre. This cultural outing offered our community a beautiful opportunity to connect with the Dharma through the power of music and performing arts.

First staged in 1999, the iconic Siddhartha The Musical returned this year in a brand-new format, featuring a magnificent live collaboration with a symphony orchestra. This unique combination of grand musical arrangements and theatrical elements brought a completely fresh experience to everyone in attendance. The beautiful songs and narration allowed our devotees to clearly feel the Buddha’s original intention behind leaving his palace to seek the ultimate truth, granting us a much deeper understanding of his boundless compassion and profound wisdom.

We would like to extend our most heartfelt congratulations to Director Ho Lin Huay (何灵慧) for the grand success of the show. Her vision and continuous dedication to Buddhist arts have once again touched the hearts of many, leaving our devotees filled with inspiration and Dharma joy.

感悟佛陀本怀，深化慈悲智慧：三宝堂信众随胜勤法师赴约《释迦牟尼佛传》音乐剧演唱会
5月22日，三宝堂信众在住持胜勤法师的慈悲带领下，前往吉隆坡表演艺术中心（KLPAC），共同观赏了《释迦牟尼佛传》音乐剧演唱会，通过音乐艺术的形式，共同走进了一场洗涤心灵的佛法飨宴。

自1999年首演以来，这部经典的《释迦牟尼佛传》音乐剧在今年以全新的姿态回归，首次与现场管弦乐团携手合作。这种将磅礴乐章与舞台戏剧元素结合的演唱会形式，为到场信众带来了耳目一新的震撼体验。在细腻的乐曲与动人歌声中，大众深刻领会到了佛陀当年毅然割爱辞亲、走出皇宫寻觅真理的“本怀”与初心，也对佛陀度化众生的慈悲与智慧有了更深一层的体悟。

三宝堂在此向导演何灵慧老师致以衷心的祝贺，恭喜本次演出取得圆满成功！感谢何导多年来在佛教文化艺术上的坚守与付出，用音乐广结善缘，让大众在佛法与艺术的交融中度过了一个法喜充满的夜晚。

🤝 FORGING UNITY AND COMPASSION: THE INAUGURAL NATIONAL WESAK CONFERENCE 2026
23rd May, the Abbess of Sam Poh Thong Buddhist Temple, also the President of the Malaysia Buddhist Bhikkhuni Association joined Buddhist leaders nationwide at Menara KEN for the historic, National Wesak Conference 2026. Hosted by the Malaysian Buddhist Consultative Council (MBCC), the hall was filled with an incredible energy of fellowship, learning, and unity.

This inaugural conference centered around the theme "Buddhist Principles & MADANI Practices," exploring the wonderful synergy between the Buddha’s timeless teachings and our national policy framework—especially in fostering deep respect, trust, and compassion within society. It was an inspiring platform to discuss ways to further promote harmony, education, and compassionate service.

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to MBCC for hosting this groundbreaking national conference. Thank you for creating such an uplifting space for the Buddhist community to exchange ideas and grow together!

🤝 凝聚全国法情：全国卫塞节研讨会
5月23日，三宝堂住持兼马来西亚佛教尼僧总会主席出席了于 Menara KEN 举行的“2026年第一届全国卫塞节研讨会”。在马来西亚佛教咨询理事会（MBCC）的凝聚下，全国各地的佛教代表与同修齐聚一堂，现场洋溢着满满的法情与精进学习的愿力。

本次研讨会围绕“佛教原则与昌明实践”展开了深度的交流。活动旨在探讨佛陀流传至今的千古智慧，如何与现代国家“昌明大马”（强调尊重、信任与慈悲）理念完美契合，并共同构思如何在多元社会中进一步促进和谐、深化大众教育以及开展慈悲关怀服务。

在此向主办单位 MBCC 致以最热烈的祝贺与由衷的感谢！感恩马来西亚佛教咨询理事会成功打造了这一历史性的国家级对话平台，让大马佛教界能够携手并进，共创包容与和谐的社会。
