Lenten Campaign

Lenten Campaign LENTEN CAMPAIGN is an annual programme undertaken by the Kuala Lumpur Archdiocesan Office for Human Development (AOHD).

Its mission is to inform, form and transform the faithful through the Social Teachings of the Catholic Church. About the Lenten Campaign
The Lenten Campaign is a faith-based programme of the Catholic Church aimed at actively encouraging the faithful to be fully immersed in the three key practices of prayer (Mt. 6:6), fasting (Mt. 6:17) and almsgiving (Mt. 6:2) during the annual observance of Lent.

The desired result of these focussed practices and efforts is renewal and transformation, as promoted by Romans 12:2. The vision of the Lenten Campaign is a Catholic community who are active and responsible cooperators of the Kingdom of God, while the mission of the Campaign is to actively and appropriately promote the spiritual observance of Lent through conscientious decisions and contemporary actions that result in renewal and transformation of the vocation of the individual Catholic and the Catholic community.

Creation Justice Ministry brought joy, fellowship and togetherness to the children of Persatuan Kanak Kanak Istimewa Hulu Langat.

These special needs children together with volunteers, parents and teachers came together to play, sing and dance by showcasing their creativity and spreading smiles, laughter, and love in every moment.

As we get closer to the holy week of lent, as Christ carried the cross to Calvary, we too reflect on the crosses we carry. The children remind us that despite challenges, nothing is impossible with God.

During this Lenten season, the Catholic Ministry For Deaf gathered in prayer to recite the Holy Rosary in conjunction with the Lenten Camp at Church of Our Lady of Fatima.

Through silent prayers, expressive hands, and faithful hearts, they reflected on the love and mercy of God. It was a meaningful reminder that faith is not limited by spoken words only but also through actions and devotion.

May this Lenten journey continue to deepen our faith, strengthen our community, and guide us closer to God.
