Dear Friends,

Today marks the official beginning of our youth festival—a time of celebration, unity as we journey together as pilgrims of Hope.

This morning, All 4 parish centers gathered at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Kota Kinabalu, to witness the launching of Salib Malaysia. From here, the cross will begin its journey, making its way to each diocese, carrying with it the prayers and spirit of our youth.

Tomorrow and the day after we will continue to celebrate as one Catholic Youth community of Malaysia our common goal and aspirations for the future of the Church in Malaysia.

Dear Friends,

Today marks Day 1 of the Malaysian Catholic Youth Day (MCYD). After four days of preparation in prayer and fellowship, we are recharged and ready to dive into MCYD with great zeal, eager to encounter the many people we will meet along the way.

For the next two days, each of us will be sent to our respective parish centers, where we will engage in spiritual conversations, similar to those held at parish level PPAs, but this time, led by youth for the youth who will come after us.

We ask for your continued prayers and intercession as we take this important step for the future of the Catholic Church in Malaysia.

Hey friends!

With hearts full of gratitude 9 of us young people from the parish, embark on this journey to Kota Kinabalu for the first-ever Malaysian Catholic Youth Day (MCYD2025). This gathering is a milestone in the life of the Church in Malaysia, where young people will come together to deepen our faith, discern our mission, get to know our friends from the different dioceses and finally prepare the way for the generations to come.

We ask for your prayers and support as we take this step as Pilgrims of Hope. Please keep us in your intentions at Mass and in your hearts. When we return on 6 April, we look forward to sharing the joy and renewal we will experience at MCYD.

Hey frens! 😃 Join us bright and early for a morning of sung Lauds (Morning Prayer) followed by breakfast nearby! ☕

Lauds which is part of the Divine Office is the official prayer of the Catholic Church with a set of psalms, antiphons, readings and intercessions which together make up the Lauds or Morning Prayer.

Join us as we learn and discover the essence of scripture through this prayer and a mini tutorial on how to pray this simple prayer of the Catholic Church ❤️

Hello everyone!! Hope u guys are doing well!

We just want to extend the invitation for each one of you to join the St. Faustina youth choir!!! 🎤🫶

We would really encourage y'all to join us because we don't just sing, we Worship and Encounter God as well. As we do this, we'll encounter God in such a way that He uses us as His instrument and when we become His instrument we bring anointing to the congregation. That makes a huge difference because it shifts everyone's heart. That is our goal in every mass that we sing for.

We want to pay it forward by inspiring the youth and the community to be a part of something great outside of Mass, by supporting and helping one another.

We will be organizing a breakfast sale fundraiser after Mass on the 23rd of October as part of our fundraising efforts for our pilgrimage to World Youth Day 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal.
