The arches and guardian lions are very nice, but apart from that, this Chinatown doesn’t really feel like much of a Chinatown to me. It would be so much nicer if there were more shops and restaurants that sold traditional Chinese things, rather than suitcases, sunglasses and fake watches.
Also, the constant presence of taxis in front of the arch makes it hard to take a good picture… ( ^_^ ; )

Japanese statuette of Dainichi-nyorai 大日如来, the cosmic Buddha (a.k.a. Vairocana वैरोचन ) . Before I added it to my collection, this statuette was most likely the main idol of a household shrine of a family that belonged to a one of the esoteric Buddhist sects Shingon-shū 真言宗 or Tendai-shū 天台宗.

Statue of the “Dark Warrior” 玄武★
(a.k.a. the “Dark Heavenly Emperor” 玄天上帝▲ etc.).
He can be recognised by the gesture He makes with His left hand (玄天指):
The index finger points upwards and the other fingers are folded, but the pinkie finger is on top of the ring finger.
In His right hand, He typically holds a double-edged sword 劍.
He is associated with the “Black Tortoise-snake”, a pair of demons He subdued and tamed.

Statue of O-jizō-sama お地蔵様 located in front of the graveyard of Fujii-dera 葛井寺.
In Japan, O-jizō-sama is often associated with children. Here, He is called Ko-sodate-jizō-son 子育地蔵尊 ("Child rearing Jizō") to invite supplicants to pray to Him for the safekeeping of their children.
