✨ “Where there is sincere devotion, unity, and prayer, divine energy will always protect and guide the community forward.” ✨

With the divine blessings of Sri Muthumariamman Ambal and the powerful protection of Shri Kala Bhairavar Swamy, the special Shri Kala Bhairavar prayers on Monday, 25th May 2026, was conducted in a spiritually uplifting and magnificent atmosphere filled with devotion, vibrations, and divine energy.

The prayers began in the morning with a spiritual Homam conducted at approximately 10.00AM by the respected Ubayakarargal
🌸 Mr. & Mrs. Mohan Krishnan, Uma & Madam Valli Krishnan Family 🌸 who carried out the entire event with great humility, dedication, and devotion.

As evening approached, devotees once again gathered in large numbers for the special Shri Kala Bhairavar Swamy prayers. One of the beautiful highlights of the evening was the Ponggal Preparation Ceremony. The holy fire was ignited as devotees took turns pouring milk into the traditional pot, symbolising prosperity, purity, gratitude, and the auspicious beginning of the prayers. As the milk began to boil and overflow, devotees joyfully chanted prayers seeking blessings, abundance, and protection from Shri Kala Bhairavar Swamy.

Following the overflowing milk ritual, devotees were once again invited to participate by adding rice, jaggery, and other ingredients into the pot for the preparation of the blessed Ponggal Prasadam. The togetherness and participation among devotees created a truly meaningful spiritual atmosphere within the temple grounds.

As the Ponggal preparation was completed, the powerful Shri Kala Bhairavar Swamy prayers officially began. The chanting of sacred mantras slowly grew louder and deeper, filling the temple with intense spiritual vibrations. The divine energy felt throughout the temple became truly overwhelming as devotees immersed themselves in prayers, devotion, and surrender to the fierce yet compassionate guardian deity

Throughout the night, various sweets, delicacies, and offerings were respectfully presented to Shri Kala Bhairavar Swamy as a symbol of gratitude, devotion, and honour. The devotional songs and powerful chanting further elevated the spiritual vibrations within the temple, creating deeply emotional and meaningful moments for all devotees present.

As the prayers concluded, devotees gathered together to enjoy the delicious buffet spread specially prepared by the Ubayakarargal. Over the years, this final day hospitality has become one of the highlights of the annual festival celebration. The dedication shown in serving devotees with quality food, care, and generosity is one of the many reasons why the Monday prayers continue attracting such overwhelming crowds year after year.

Personally, it is truly uplifting to witness how every Ubayakarar continuously strives to improve the celebration experience for devotees. The effort, hospitality, dedication, and sincerity shown by all organisers and sponsors play an important role in strengthening devotion and encouraging even larger participation from the community in the coming years.

🙏 51st YEAR POOCHORITHAL THIRUVIZHA BRAMOURCHAVAM 🙏

With the divine blessings of Sri Muthumariamman Ambal, the Hotspring New Village Youth Ubayakarargal celebration was successfully and beautifully carried out with full devotion, unity, energy, and togetherness.

The evening began with prayers and offerings conducted by the Ubayakarargal together with devotees, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere filled with divine vibrations and positivity. Devotees gathered in large numbers to seek the blessings of Ambal, offering prayers with faith, humility, and gratitude.

This batch of Air Panas youths truly deserves special appreciation and recognition. From the moment the responsibility of the Ubayam was slowly handed over by the respected Air Panas Veterans group over the years, these energetic young boys and girls embraced the opportunity with dedication, discipline, and commitment. Year after year, they have continued to improve, organise, and beautifully elevate the celebration with youthful creativity, teamwork, and responsibility.

Today, it is truly heartwarming to witness how far this youth group has come. Their unity, spirit of volunteerism, and commitment towards temple activities clearly reflect the strong foundation and guidance that was nurtured by the veterans before them. The bond between the veterans and youths was something truly special to witness during this year’s celebration.

One of the most emotional and meaningful moments of the night was when the youths took the opportunity to honour and appreciate the Air Panas Veterans by respectfully presenting shawls and flower garlands. It was a beautiful symbol of gratitude, respect, continuity, and togetherness. At the same time, the veterans proudly encouraged and supported the younger generation, showing the importance of guiding youths with patience, trust, and responsibility.

This meaningful relationship between both generations clearly shows the beauty of a community growing together hand in hand. The seniors passing down knowledge, while the youths carry forward the tradition with fresh energy and vision, is truly something inspiring for everyone to witness.

The wonderful food prepared and served during the celebration also brought devotees together in joy and fellowship. The cheerful atmosphere, smiling faces, teamwork among volunteers, and the spirit of serving others reflected the true meaning of unity and devotion within the Air Panas community.

It is genuinely uplifting to see such strong bonding between the veterans and youths, proving that when guidance, trust, and opportunity are given, the younger generation can rise beautifully to continue preserving temple traditions and community spirit for the future.

51st YEAR POOCHORITHAL THIRUVIZHA BRAMOURCHAVAM 2026

🚩 DIVINE CHARIOT PROCESSION OF SRI MUTHUMARIAMMAN AMBAL

With the divine grace of Sri Muthumariamman Ambal, the Chariot Procession journeyed through the Air Panas Setapak community, bringing blessings, protection, and spiritual vibrations to every street and household along the route.

Devotees gathered with deep devotion and humility as Ambal was taken around the vicinity of Air Panas. Families stood outside their homes with prayers, incense, flowers, and offerings, seeking the sacred blessings of Mother Ambal. The emotional sight of devotees praying with folded hands as the holy chariot passed through their homes reflected the strong spiritual connection and love the community has towards Sri Muthumariamman.

The entire procession was filled with vibrant spiritual energy. The sounds of devotional chants, traditional drums, fireworks lighting up the night sky, and the magnificent lion dance performances created a truly grand and unforgettable atmosphere. Every moment of the procession carried divine joy, unity, culture, and celebration.

Although the Chariot Procession had to return slightly earlier due to an unexpected technical matter, the journey continued safely and smoothly under the protection and grace of Ambal. With the assistance and es**rt of the police patrol team, the chariot returned safely to the temple grounds, reminding devotees that Ambal’s divine protection is always present throughout every challenge and obstacle.

Upon the arrival of the chariot back at the temple, special prayers and final rituals were performed with great devotion and respect. The spiritual vibrations felt throughout the night remained powerful as devotees continued offering prayers until the early hours of the morning
At approximately 2.30AM, the conclusion of the 51st Year Poochorithal Thiruvizha Bramourchavam 2026 came to a beautiful and emotional end, filled with divine blessings, gratitude, and devotion.

Once again, the devotees and residents of Air Panas Setapak showed their unwavering love, faith, unity, and dedication towards Sri Muthumariamman Ambal. The togetherness, volunteerism, humility, and spiritual commitment shown by the community truly made this year’s celebration meaningful and memorable.

🙏 MAHESWARA POOJA & ANNATHANAM – 12 NOON 🙏

✨ “Annadanam is not merely offering food; it is offering life, love, and blessings.” ✨

The Maheswara Pooja and Annathanam was lovingly organised by Mr. Arasu Velayutham & Family under the divine blessings of Sri Muthumariamman Ambal.

This year’s Annathanam was truly one of the most memorable and heartwarming offerings. The wonderful combination of delicious traditional varieties prepared with devotion and care created a mouth watering experience for all devotees present. Every dish carried not only flavour, but also the sincerity, love, and spiritual intention of the sponsors and volunteers.

As per our tradition, the Annathanam food was first respectfully offered to Ambal before being served to devotees. This divine offering signifies gratitude, purity, humility, and surrender to the Goddess. Only after receiving Ambal’s blessings was the prasadam distributed to the devotees with great care and devotion.

Annadanam has always been regarded as one of the highest forms of charity in Sanathana Dharma. Feeding others with love is considered a service to humanity and to God Himself. It nourishes not only the body, but also the soul. The giver and receiver are both blessed through this noble act of compassion.

Special prayers, honours, and respects were offered to the Annathanam sponsor family, Mr. Arasu Velayutham & Family, for their generous contribution and humble service towards the devotees and temple community. May their family continue to prosper with happiness, good health, peace, and divine grace.

🙏 Divine Flower Procession – 51st Year Poochorithal Thiruvizha Bramourchavam – 24 May 2026 🙏

The Flower Procession began with special poojas at 10.00am from Sri Muniandy Muniswarar Alayam, Jalan Ayer Jernih, as devotees gathered with deep devotion and spiritual anticipation for one of the most beautiful moments of the festival.

The temple was also honoured by the gracious presence of PKR Setiawangsa caretaker and upcoming focal leader for the Setiawangsa PKR Division, ✨ YB Datuk Afdlin Shauki ✨, who took the time to personally join the celebration and show his support towards the ongoing spiritual and cultural traditions of Sri Muthumariamman Thirukoil, Air Panas Setapak.

Despite the busy festival arrangements and continuous temple activities, Temple President Mr. Dorai respectfully carried out a special honour presentation to YB Datuk Afdlin Shauki by offering a traditional flower garland and ceremonial shawl as a gesture of appreciation, respect, and unity from the temple management and devotees.

Following the prayers, the Karagam bearer entered a divine spiritual trance as devotional songs and powerful Nadaswaram music filled the atmosphere with humility and bhakti. The spiritual vibrations grew stronger as Ambal’s divine presence was felt immediately through the graceful spiritual dance of the Karagam.

Devotees stood faithfully beside the procession despite the rising morning heat, patiently preparing for the sacred one hour journey towards Sri Muthumariamman Thirukoil. Soon after the Karagam began leading the path, the grand flower procession followed beautifully behind.

Young and old, children and elders, families and devotees walked together carrying colourful flowers with devotion in their hearts and prayers in their souls. The procession officially began around 10.45am, creating a magnificent sight of unity, faith, and celebration throughout the streets of Air Panas Setapak.

Along the journey, the Karagam stopped at several main junctions to perform spiritual cleansing rituals, while devotees respectfully offered Manjal Neer and turmeric water seeking blessings and protection from Divine Mother Ambal.

As the procession approached the temple entrance, the spiritual atmosphere became even more powerful. The vibrations, devotional chants, and sounds of Nadaswaram reached their highest energy as the Karagam performed its traditional spiritual dance before entering the temple grounds.

Upon arrival, the temple priests conducted special prayers while the Karagam circumambulated the temple as a mark of reverence before proceeding towards Sri Muthumariamman Ambal. Soon after, the elderly devotees began the flower offering ceremony followed by all devotees, creating a truly emotional and graceful moment of devotion before Ambal.

The entire pooja and flower offering ceremony were conducted beautifully with peace, unity, and divine blessings surrounding every devotee present. As the day’s sacred celebrations continued towards the next event, devotees patiently remained with faith and devotion in their hearts.

May the infinite grace of Sri Muthumariamman Ambal continue to bless all devotees with protection, happiness, prosperity, and spiritual strength always.

🙏 A Divine Beginning to the 51st Year Poochorithal Thiruvizha Bramourchavam 🙏

With the boundless grace of Sri Muthumariamman Ambal, the P**l Abishegam Procession began as early as 5.30am from Sri Kaliamman Periyachi Amman Alayam, Jalan Air Jernih, towards Sri Muthumariamman Thirukoil, Air Panas Setapak.

Almost 300 devotees carrying P**l Koodam walked together in deep devotion and prayer throughout the nearly one hour spiritual journey. The entire procession was beautifully accompanied by the powerful devotional vibrations of 6 piece Nagasvaram music, filling the streets with divine energy and emotional devotion.

As the procession arrived at the temple, devotees witnessed an unforgettable spiritual moment as the P**l Koodam procession circumambulated the temple seeking Ambal’s blessings before offering the sacred milk to Divine Mother Sri Muthumariamman. The sight of milk overflowing gracefully upon Ambal during the abishegam touched the hearts of devotees beyond words.

The chants of “Om Sakthi… Parasakthi…” echoed louder and louder through the temple atmosphere, creating a powerful spiritual vibration felt by every soul present.

It was truly a beautiful, emotional, and blessed beginning to the 51st Year Poochorithal Thiruvizha Bramourchavam, marking the start of a day filled with poojas, prayers, devotion, and divine blessings from Ambal.
