Congratulations to the confirmands from the Church of the Risen Christ and the Church of St. Joseph!
During his homily, Archbishop Julian Leow shared an inspiring message on God's endless mercy, reminding us that every day is a gift to turn away from sin and walk closer with Him.

His message to the confirmands:
✨ Make choices that lead to eternity with God in Heaven.
✨ Choose life over death, do good, and reject evil influences.
✨ Be life-giving to those around you through active charity.
✨ Nourish your faith through the Eucharist, which strengthens us on our journey to Christ.

Let us keep our confirmands in our prayers as they begin this new chapter in their spiritual lives!

Bersempena dengan Pesta KAGAPE, marilah kita merayakan iman sebagai satu komuniti yang bersatu dalam kasih Tuhan, berakar teguh dalam Sabda-Nya dan dipenuhi harapan akan hidup sejati.

Kehadiran serta penglibatan golongan muda dalam koir, para pelayan altar dan pelayanan liturgi Misa mencerminkan sebuah komuniti yang hidup, aktif dan penuh semangat. Semoga semangat mereka terus menginspirasikan kita semua untuk bertumbuh dalam iman dan menjadi saksi kasih Kristus.

Bersama, kita melangkah sebagai satu komuniti, berakar dalam Sabda Tuhan dan dipimpin oleh harapan.

Throughout these seven days, the Salib brought us together in prayer, reflection, and fellowship. We lifted up our families, our Church, our nation, and the care of creation as we prepared our hearts for the Malaysia Pastoral Convention 2026.

For the community of our parish, it was a journey of spiritual renewal. The Salib reminded us of our call to walk together, listen to God's voice, support one another, and be living witnesses of Christ's love in our daily lives.

A heartfelt thank you to all our parishioners who participated throughout the seven-day pilgrimage of prayer and reflection. Your presence, prayers, and commitment made this journey truly meaningful as we grew together in faith and unity.

As we now hand over the Salib to the next parish, we do so with grateful hearts and renewed hope. May Christ's love continue to inspire every community that welcomes it, drawing us ever closer to the Risen Lord.

𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐆𝐨𝐝'𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝

The English and BM Bible Groups recently welcomed parishioners and catechism students for a meaningful Bible sharing session centred on the inspiring story of Ruth and Naomi. Through this beautiful journey of faith, love, and loyalty, participants discovered how the timeless wisdom of Scripture continues to guide us through the challenges of everyday life.

Everyone was encouraged to bring their own Bible as we read, reflected, and grew together in God's Living Word.

One of the highlights of the gathering was the Community Scripture Board, where parishioners were invited to write and share a Bible verse that speaks to their hearts. Together, these verses form a beautiful visual expression of our parish's shared faith journey, reminding us that God's Word is alive and active in our daily lives. The completed board will remain on display as a source of inspiration and reflection for both catechism students and parishioners.

May this initiative gently encourage every family to make Bible reading a regular part of their home life. As we gather around God's Word, we discover practical guidance, hope, and wisdom for every season of life.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Msgr James and the KLABA team for their encouragement and support in promoting Bible study within our parish.

This gathering was a warm and welcoming opportunity for families to come together, deepen their faith, and grow closer to God and one another.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧

Life brings many experiences—moments of joy and moments of sorrow. It is natural to go through these ups and downs. At times, doubts arise in our minds and hearts. We question God, wonder why we must endure certain trials, and experience a sense of emptiness.

Pope John Paul II reminds us that it is often in these moments of struggle that we are drawn closer to God. As Thomas Aquinas, the great theologian who wrote beautifully about the Eucharist, reflected, God sometimes leads us into the desert—not to abandon us, but to test and strengthen our humility and trust in His will.

It is precisely during these challenging times that we are invited to turn to the Eucharist, to come to Holy Mass, and to encounter Christ present among us. In the Eucharist, we find peace for our troubled hearts, strength for our journey, and hope to carry on.

The Eucharist is not only nourishment for our souls—it is a reminder that God is always with us, especially when life feels most difficult.
