𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰
On this Easter, we look to Mary of Magdala. She was there for it all: the devotion, the agony of the Cross, and finally, the glory of the empty tomb.
St. Mary Magdalene shows us incredible courage and tenacity. Even when "it was still dark"—filled with the shadows of struggle, war, and betrayal—she kept moving toward Jesus. She reminds us that even when the world feels heavy, something new is happening.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒇:

𝑮𝒐 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔.

No matter what darkness you are facing, God is with you. He will empower you.

“𝐃𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐝.”
After the Resurrection, Jesus gave a simple but profound direction: “Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”

Why Galilee? Galilee is the place where it all began—the miracles, the preaching, and the first spark of faith. By going back there, the disciples were invited to "re-read" their entire journey through the lens of the Cross.

What is your "Galilee"? It is that special place in your heart where you first encountered Him. If you’ve felt lost or have fallen out along the way, go back to your Galilee.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬'𝐬 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝: 𝐀 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Today, we stand at the foot of the Cross with St. John Chrysostom, who reveals the true power of the blood and water flowing from the side of Christ.

In the Old Covenant, the blood of a lamb on the doorposts protected the Israelites. But St. John reminds us of a greater reality:
"The devil sees not the doorposts, but the lips of the faithful who receive His blood. When the enemy sees a soul marked by Christ, he flees."

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫: 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬’ 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞, 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝; 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡.
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓: 𝑺𝒚𝒎𝒃𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑩𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒔𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏.
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒅: 𝑺𝒚𝒎𝒃𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒚 𝑴𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 (𝑬𝒖𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕).

Just as Eve was formed from the side of Adam, the Church was formed from the side of Christ. He feeds us not with an external gift, but with His very own life—like a mother who nourishes her child with her own body.

Today, we don't just remember a death; we honor the source of our life

𝗠𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆
We look to the wisdom of St. Alphonsus Liguori to understand the depth of Christ’s heart.

Jesus didn’t just give us a rule; He gave us a New Commandment: "Love one another as I have loved you" (John 13:34). But what did He leave behind to help us do that?

𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫, 𝐇𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐬:

𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤
Starting this week with a heart full of grace. As we reflect on John 12:1-11, we are reminded of the profound dignity of every human person. Today, I am simply trusting in His mercy.

𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤
"I am who I am." (Exodus 34:6-7). Today is about walking by faith and acknowledging God’s hand in every detail of our lives. He is gracious and abounding in faithful love for a thousand generations. Our mission is fueled by the gifts He already gave us: Faith & Grace.

𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤
Hope is our companion today. It’s the certainty that nothing can separate us from God’s love. When we walk with Jesus—the Way, the Truth, and the Life—hope leads us directly to Peace.

𝗟𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗳 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗿

In the spirit of the Lenten season and inspired by the Holy Father’s theme, "In the One, We are ONE," the PIHDM of the Risen Christ and St. Joseph parishes came together to host a vibrant banana leaf lunch for local families in need.
The gathering began with a burst of youthful energy as the youths entertained the community with heartfelt songs and lively dances, fostering a sense of shared joy and belonging.
After Father Frederick offered a blessing and shared words of gratitude for the organizers, the youths stepped forward to serve the meal, bridging generational and social gaps.
