LJCCC 43RD ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION, 3rd August 2026
(Part 3: Dinner Celebration)

Following the Mass, we gathered in the parish hall for a fellowship dinner accompanied by a simple yet meaningful programme. The evening began with addresses by our Presiding Elder, Anthony, followed by Archbishop John Wong and Msgr Nicholas Stephen. In their messages, His Grace and Msgr expressed their gratitude to the members of our community for their faithful service to the parish and the Archdiocese, encouraging everyone to remain steadfast in their calling.

Throughout the dinner, we were blessed with a video montage reflecting on God's faithfulness over the years. The celebration also featured a variety of performances, including a tambourine and flag dance, a dance by the children of the community, and a mime presentation by our youth.

The evening concluded with a closing prayer and blessing by the Archbishop. With grateful hearts, we thank and praise the Lord for His faithfulness and for blessing us with a joyful and memorable celebration.

LJCCC 43RD ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION, 3rd August 2026
(Part 2: Eucharistic Celebration)

This is the highlight of our anniversary celebration. We were blessed to have Archbishop John Wong alongside with Msgr Nicholas Stephen, Fr Moses Yap and Fr Gilbert to celebrate Mass, in thanksgiving for the 43 years God has been with us. Archbishop in his homily, while reflecting on the Gospel, encouraged all members to continue to give our 5 loaves and 2 fish to the Lord as we serve Him.

At the end of the Mass, Maximus and Antonia, both longtime members of LJCCC were given a special blessing by Archbishop as they celebrate their 46th wedding anniversary. 🥰

We praise the Lord, for this wonderful Eucharistic Celebration!

A RAY OF HOPE, A RAY OF LIGHT, 25 YEARS ON..

On Saturday, 25 July 2026, the youth of our community, Royal Ambassadors Youth (RAY) joyfully celebrated their 25th Anniversary. It was a beautiful evening of thanksgiving as we reflected on God's faithfulness throughout the years.

We were deeply honoured to be joined by Archbishop John Wong, our Parish Priest Msgr Nicholas, Fr Moses, Fr Wilson, members of the community and many former and current members who have journeyed with RAY from its early beginnings to where it is today.

The evening was filled with heartfelt moments, including inspiring testimonies from the teens, a mime performance presented by the youth, and a moving time of worship. Archbishop, in his address, encouraged the young people to continue to be faithful to Christ and to be unafraid to give their lives to Him.

For 25 years, RAY has continued to be a place of hope and light for teenagers - not by our own strength, but by the grace of God. We are grateful for every person who has been part of this journey and look forward with hope to all that lies ahead.

To Jesus be the glory and honour forever. 🙌🏻❤️

A Potluck Thanksgiving Dinner was held on 22 July 2026 at the Sacred Heart Parish Centre (SHPC) to celebrate the successful completion of the 10-Week “Coming Together” & “Growing Together” Bible Sharing Programme.

It was a joyful evening of thanksgiving, fellowship, and celebration. Participants spent a wonderful time together in worship, shared their experiences and testimonies from the programme, and enjoyed an abundance of delicious home-cooked dishes, desserts, fresh fruits, and durians.

The evening was a beautiful expression of Christian fellowship, gratitude, and the bonds of friendship that had grown throughout the ten weeks of journeying together in God’s Word.
