Our parish joyfully witnessed the Commissioning of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) and Parish Finance Council (PFC) for the term of 2026-2029. With hearts rooted in faith and a commitment to serve, our newly commissioned council members answered the call to take on this important mission for our parish. โค๏ธ

May the Lord grant them wisdom in their decisions, humility in their service, and strength in carrying out their responsibilities. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and inspire them as they work together for the good of our parish community. May their service always be a reflection of Christโ€™s love and a means of bringing our parish family closer to God and to one another. โœจ United in faith. Called to serve. Guided by Christ. โœ๏ธ

The MPC Cross was transferred from Room F7 to the foyer of the Sacred Heart Parish Hall for an exhibition and awareness programme on the Churchโ€™s teachings on the environment and social friendship.

The exhibition, held from 30 August 2026 to 4 September 2026, focused on:

Laudato Siโ€™ โ€“ the Churchโ€™s teaching on care for our common home and the environment.
Fratelli Tutti โ€“ the Churchโ€™s teaching on social friendship, fraternity and solidarity.

On 30 August 2026, the MPC Cross was received by representatives from three groups: Creation Justice Ecology, Social, and OFS.

Parishioners were warmly invited to spend time with the MPC Cross through personal adoration, prayer and devotion. Parishioners were also encouraged to support the Foodbank by contributing dry or canned food items for those in need.

May this initiative deepen our commitment to caring for our common home and building a community rooted in fraternity, friendship and solidarity.

With hearts united in faith, our parish community gathered to prayerfully walk with Christ through the Way of the Cross, reflecting on His Passion, suffering, and immense love for each one of us.

The Stations of the Cross were recited in three different languages, beautifully reflecting the diversity of our parish community. Though our languages may be different, we are one in Christ, one in faith, and one in prayer. โค๏ธ

The day continued with the 1st Friday evening mass of the month and the Holy Rosary in the church, as we entrusted our prayers and intentions to the Blessed Virgin Mary and sought her intercession to lead us ever closer to her Son, Jesus.

May our journey through the Cross deepen our faith, strengthen our love for Christ, and inspire us to carry our own crosses with hope and trust in God. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
