✨Post-Conference: 10 Days, 10 Testimonies ✨
God asked us to wait for 6 years.

A few young people gathered with one simple desire: to make the SYC Conference happen. Countless hours were spent in prayer, seeking God’s guidance for what would become SYC 2020.
Having experienced conferences like this elsewhere, We know it’s the kind of blessing we cannot keep to ourselves. We have to keep sharing it with others.
Everything was almost in place. All the prayers and all the effort, the theme was set, we had a venue in mind, speakers had been contacted. But then…
COVID hit.
Gatherings were no longer possible.
Travel was restricted.
Every door seemed closed.
Yet, God gently led us forward in a different way, through an online Bible study. What started as a small group soon grew into hundreds of participants. It became clear to us that our people are hungry for the Word of God.
After COVID, life took many of us in different directions. Some committee members moved away from Sabah, others continued their studies, and some were called into different areas of ministry. SYC entered a season of pause.
But God never forgot the prayers we prayed in 2019/20.

6 years later, He answered.
In that waiting season, God was at work. Through the online bible study, it helps us to see the needs of the young people in Sabah. He allows us to have a season of pause and went our separate ways because He wanted to teach us, train us, and strengthen us for ministry. So that when the time finally came for this conference to happen, we would be ready, prepared and steadfast. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against power, against the ruler of the darkness of this world. Because when the gospel is preached, we know the enemy will not be pleased.
Friends, no matter how long it takes for God to answer your prayers, remember this: He is always on time. His timing is perfect.
And perhaps, in the waiting, He is preparing you for the very blessing you are praying for. And sometimes, receiving a blessing requires us to first be strong.
So keep praying.
Keep believing.
God is always on time.
