What a beautiful Sunday in the house of God! ❤️

This weekend, people from Setia Alam and Klang gathered as one church to worship Jesus, hear His Word, pray together, and grow in faith.

Every gathering is another opportunity to draw closer to Jesus and allow Him to shape us into His likeness. We’re grateful that we don’t have to walk this journey alone—we get to follow Jesus and grow together as a spiritual family.

As we conclude The Making of a Disciple, 2 Timothy 2:6 gives us one final picture of discipleship: the hardworking farmer. A farmer understands that there is always a process between the seed and the harvest. We may sow and water faithfully, but ultimately, it is God who gives the growth.

The farmer teaches us:

• Discipleship is a process
• Faithfulness comes from faith
• Growth comes from little, boring steps

Discipleship is often more ordinary than we imagine. Growth happens as we choose to pray again, read His Word again, show up again, serve again, forgive again, and invest in people again. Our responsibility is to keep planting and watering, while trusting God with the timing, the outcome, and the growth.

As we come to the end of this series, may we be focused like the soldier, disciplined like the athlete, and faithful like the farmer. Through it all, may we experience the sufficiency of His grace as He forms us into His likeness and uses us to help others follow Jesus. 🌱✨

随着 《成为门徒 The Making of a Disciple》 系列来到尾声，提摩太后书 2:6 给了我们最后一幅关于门徒生命的图画：劳力的农夫。农夫明白，从撒种到收割之间必定有一个过程。我们可以忠心地栽种、浇灌，但最终使生命成长的是神。

农夫教会我们：

• 门徒塑造是一个过程
• 忠心源自于信心
• 成长来自微小、平凡的每一步

门徒的成长，往往比我们想象中更加平凡。成长发生在我们选择再一次祷告、再一次读神的话、再一次出现、再一次服事、再一次饶恕，也再一次投入在人的生命里。我们的责任是不断栽种、不断浇灌，并把时间、结果和成长都交托给神。

随着这个系列来到尾声，愿我们成为像士兵一样专注、像运动员一样有纪律、像农夫一样忠心的门徒。在整个过程中，愿我们经历祂恩典的充足，让祂不断塑造我们更像基督，也使用我们帮助更多人跟随耶稣。🌱✨

“Truth may not always make you feel comfortable, but it will help you grow.” — Joshua Chong

From 2 Timothy 2:5, we are reminded that just as an athlete must compete according to the rules, a disciple of Jesus is called to live with discipline—allowing God’s truth, rather than our comfort or preferences, to shape the way we live.

As disciples, we need spiritual discernment, especially when what is fake increasingly looks real. Jesus warns us that not everything that looks right is right, and that we can recognise what is true by its fruit.

We are challenged to examine our hearts:

• Do we enjoy God’s blessings but resist His discipline?
• Do we embrace His grace but avoid the cross, self-denial, and sacrifice?
• Are we willing to choose God’s truth even when it is uncomfortable?

A disciplined disciple does not build faith around what feels comfortable, but learns to discern what is true and walk according to God’s ways. May we grow in spiritual discernment, guard our hearts, and become disciples who remain faithful to the truth even when the narrow way is not the easiest way. ✨

透过提摩太后书 2:5，我们被提醒，正如运动员必须按规矩竞赛，耶稣的门徒也蒙召活出有纪律的生命——让神的真理，而不是我们的舒适或个人喜好，来塑造我们的生活方式。

作为门徒，我们需要有属灵的分辨力，尤其当假的越来越像真的时候。耶稣提醒我们，看起来对的不一定是真的，而我们可以凭着所结的果子来分辨真假。

我们也被挑战来省察自己的心：

• 我们是否喜欢神的祝福，却抗拒祂的管教？
• 我们是否接受祂的恩典，却逃避十字架、舍己与付代价？
• 即使神的真理让我们感到不舒服，我们是否仍愿意选择真理？

一个有纪律的门徒，不会把信仰建立在自己的舒适感上，而是学习分辨什么是真理，并按照神的道路而行。愿我们在属灵的分辨力上不断成长，保守自己的心，成为忠于真理的门徒——即使窄路并不是最容易走的路，我们仍选择坚定地走在其中。✨

This weekend, our Wonderkids learned from the life of Joseph what it means to live with humility and faithfulness—not only when life is going well, but even when things are difficult or unfair.

Through Joseph’s story, they discovered the importance of being faithful in the small things and remaining humble even when they are misunderstood.

We pray that our WonderKids will grow into a generation who chooses to do what is right even when no one is watching, knowing that God sees their faithfulness! ❤️✨

We believe every encounter with Jesus changes us. As we behold Him, may His Word continue to shape our hearts, renew our minds, and transform the way we live.

“A disciple becomes powerful not because he does more, but because he becomes more devoted to Jesus.” — Melvin Teng Teck Ming

From 2 Timothy 2:3–4, we are reminded that a disciple of Jesus is called to live like a good soldier—with focus, devotion, and an undivided heart that seeks to please Christ above everything else.

A focused disciple understands:
• A Soldier Has One Commander
• A Soldier Refuses Distractions
• A Soldier Fights with Spiritual Weapons

A focused disciple doesn’t simply remove distractions; we intentionally fill our lives with God. We cannot build discipline while living distracted—focus always comes before formation. May we live with an undivided heart, fixing our eyes on Jesus and seeking above all else to please the One who called us. ⚔️✨

This weekend, our WonderKids learned how to align their hearts with God’s heart and discovered that the Holy Spirit is our Helper! 🕊️

They learned that we can grow closer to God by knowing Him through His Word, listening to His voice, asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom and guidance, and praying for others.

We pray that our children will grow up knowing that they are never alone—the Holy Spirit is with them, helping them to live like Jesus and make a difference wherever they go! ✨
