Acts Iskandar Acts Iskandar is a church plant initiative of Acts Singapore and supported by Acts KL.

Acts Iskandar is currently anchored by Paul & Cheryl Yong who were sent out from Acts Singapore when Paul decided to venture into business and moved to Johor Bahru (JB). This move by Paul & Cheryl is like a vision come through as Acts Singapore's Senior Minister, Pr Kenneth Chin had visited the new area of Iskandar some years back and he felt that one day Acts would start a work there. Armed with

faith, courage and an adventure to be lived, Paul & Cheryl are meeting with people with like-minded hearts to pray and plan for the church. Iskandar, JB is seeing many universities & businesses starting within her area. For Acts Iskandar - it would be like a "home away from home" setting to connect with students & young working adults. It would be a place for word sharing, building up the faith in Christ of believers, food sharing & worship that would help build responsible & conscientious nation builders for Malaysia & beyond.

In the middle of uncertainty, pressure, and noise, God offers a peace that is steady, complete, and unshaken.
Revival is not only about spiritual fire, it is also about hearts anchored in Godโ€™s presence. When our minds remain fixed on Him, fear loses its grip, anxiety fades, and His perfect peace fills our souls.
As we pursue revival, let us keep our eyes on Jesus and trust Him fully. The closer we stay to Him, the more His peace rules in our hearts. Amen! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™

5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.
6 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom. 7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice. 9 Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Repentance is not weakness, it is the doorway to healing, freedom, and fresh intimacy with God. When we humble ourselves before Him, He washes away the old, renews our spirit, and creates in us a clean heart ready for His presence.
True revival starts when we stop hiding and start returning.
God is not looking for perfect people, but willing hearts that are ready to be transformed. Amen! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™

18 The disciples of John and of the Pharisees were fasting. Then they came and said to Him, โ€œWhy do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples do not fast?โ€
19 And Jesus said to them, โ€œCan the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast. 20 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days. 21 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; or else the new piece pulls away from the old, and the tear is made worse. 22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.โ€

Church, Revival is not just about asking God for something new, itโ€™s about allowing Him to renew us from the inside out. Old mindsets, old habits, and old limitations cannot contain what God wants to pour out in this season.
He is preparing hearts that are flexible, surrendered, and hungry for more of Him.
Let us be open to His refining work, ready to embrace the fresh move of His Spirit and step boldly into all He has prepared. Amen! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™

25 โ€œThen the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

Church, Revival is sustained by hearts that stay hungry and prepared. Itโ€™s not a one-time moment, but a continual pursuit, keeping our lamps filled through prayer, devotion, and intimacy with God.
When our hearts are ready, His fire has a place to fall.
Therefore, letโ€™s encourage one another to be wise, not passive, pursuing God daily, guarding our spiritual fire, and staying expectant for His move. Amen! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™
