Thanksgiving📝 (3): 30 August 2026 （yesterday) 13th Sunday after Trinity Sunday proper 17 (green). COGSJB 11am Morning Prayer Service. Speaker: Deaconess Chooi Yee Yen. Host: People’s Warden, sister Betty Foo. We have prayed as a church for catastrophic flooding at Tibet & Nepal. We received the special offering to raise funds for our Anglican community in Nepal and all these donations will be remitted in full to Nepal through the Diocese of Singapore which oversees our churches in Nepal.

Thanksgiving📝 (2): Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Memperbaharui Johor Bahru, West Malaysia charity dinner titled “New Hope” 🥂 to raise educational and operational funds for the children from single-parent families and for nurturing youths under their care. Praise God for the meaningful dinner attended by about 1,200 people last night, with prayers of support and donations of about 500,000 yuan. There were 10 of us represented COGSJB at the event to support General Secretary & Supervisor Pastor Lye Lai Kiong. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit be with all of us.
