龙母庙志记载
龙母最早被封建国家敕封是在汉高祖十二年
（前195）即龙母死后（龙母卒于前（210）16年，被汉高祖刘邦敕封"程溪夫人"加赐厚葬。
唐天祐元年（904）唐昭宗李哗敕封"永安夫人亅。
第二年改封"永宁夫人"
南汉大宝九年（966），南汉后主刘鋹敕封"龙母夫人
宋太宗年间（976一997）
赵炅敕封”永济夫人"
宋熙宁十年（1077）
宋神宋赵顼加封"灵济崇福圣妃"
宋元丰元年（1078）宋神宗赵顼又赠"永济夫人”
明洪武八年（1375）
明太祖朱元璋敕封"程溪龙母学德圣妃"
九年（1376）又敕封"护国通尺惠济显德龙母娘娘"
清康熙二十八年（1689）
清圣祖玄烨敕封"水府元君“
清咸丰三年（1853）清文宗奕詝朱笔圈出"溥佑"为龙母封号。
光绪八年（1882）清德宗载湉朱笔再圏出"广荫"为龙母封号。
将历代皇帝敕封加在一起龙母头衔全称"程溪永安护国通天惠济显德昭显溥佑广荫龙母娘娘水府元君，
神典多达38个字。
为历代神灵封号最丰者，有膺封十数朝。
掌握风云雷雨、岳渎山川，考较人间功过，福善禍淫，保佑普天之苍生，以历代封号可以看出，自汉高祖刘邦12年被封开始。
在唐、宋、明、清四个朝代都被统治者加封。
亦先后九次受到皇帝的敕封，並且被纳入中国国家祀典。
